"Rating 6/6 : Brilliant Our Wedding at Sopwell House Private Function, St Albans on Sunday 5 May 2024 Uptown Funk were absolutely brilliant and made our wedding so much fun! Everyone was raving about the band and it was so great seeing all guests on the dancefloor the entire time! We made a few requests too (our first dance and Israeli dancing) and they were brilliant for every single song. "Hello we booked a duo called carousel for sat 25th may 2019 for a really nice venue in Seaford East Sussex at a coaching inn called THE OLD BOOT. The venue after the gig said they were really a brilliant duo and the choice of music was fab! Well done Ian and Tania from carousel duo thank you so much for standing in at the last minute.. My partner and I run DG INSPIRATIONS ENTERTAINMENTS SOUTH. Once again my thanks for a great night for all that attended, kind regards Michael Company Director."

"Fantastic band who really got the wedding party going. Everything pre wedding was arranged smoothly and plenty of scope to choose songs from the provided playlist. The guys turned up on time and mixed well with the guests before and after sets. Music and vocals were excellent and everyone felt they went out of their way to make it a special day for Julia and me, as well as our family and friends. Would highly recommend! "

Despite it being January, they managed to recreate the festive spirit with a lively and engaging performance that had everyone dancing. The combination of their vibrant sound, dynamic stage presence, and impeccable professionalism made the event unforgettable. It was the perfect way to kick off the new year—we’re already looking for an excuse to book them again!"

"Ceili Max put on an exceptional night for us. The piper and whistler set during the ceremony was beautifully delivered, with a few tears in people's eyes before the wedding was even fully underway. The star of the show was the Banghra Ceilidh. Tad and the rest of the band did a fantastic job keeping the Banghra element a surprise for my Bengali wife who was utterly delighted with Jeevan's reveal. The sound of both elements in combination for the first time was sublime and raised the atmosphere in the room to another level. I never thought we'd have more than a third of our guests up dancing; yet within the first couple of songs our caller had managed to draw what seemed like nearly every guest up, putting their best foot forwards with huge smiles all round. Simply put, Ceili Max injected a massive dose of fun into our special day- we'd book them again in a heartbeat."

"We just wanted to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding. You completely exceeded all of our expectations, you guys are incredible and had everybody on the dance floor all night. Apparently even people in the local town were sat out in their gardens listening to you guys until the end of your set too! We have had so many messages from our friends and family saying what a memorable part of the day the band were and how completely knocked out they were by you. Special thanks to your amazing sound engineer who played all of our music for us exactly as we wanted, it was not unnoticed how patiently he sat there waiting throughout our meal to pause/play the music. And of course, our walk in music was perfect too. We saw him packing up right at the end of the night past midnight, it was a long day for him and he was amazing. Not to forget to mention the incredible sound system. It is the first wedding we have been to where there were no issues with the microphones/volume of speeches. "We booked The Rockpins for our 25th wedding anniversary and they were brilliant! We had so many people comment on what an amazing band they were, so can see plenty of extra bookings coming their way! All 3 of their 40 minute sets were superb and had everyone up and dancing. Amazing guitar solos, brilliant drums and Matt’s vocals made it an evening to remember. We used their song "Heartbeat" for our slow dance and it was perfect. We would definitely recommend The Rockpins to anyone who wants a live band and night to remember. Thank you for making our anniversary party so special and memorable. Ross and Anthea 07.06.25"
