"I hope that you are both well. Just thought I’d send a quick e mail about the Whittington Charity Ball last night which The Night We Met played at. They were amazing, the people loved them and I’ve had so much feedback over the course of the day just saying how much they enjoyed them, the set list, everything. Thanks Joel for letting me change the set timings too, that really helped. I’m just working out if I can physically put on another event for 2024 but if I can, I'd love it if you would consider playing for us again."

"I booked the Smokin Mirrors for my wedding and it was MAGICAL. The whole event was running behind and they were so flexible about it, they were prompt, understanding, and they ROCKED! We hired them for the drinks reception and we hired a larger band for after dinner...I received so many more compliments about these women than the 10 piece band we had later on. I should have just held on to them for the whole day! "

"Booking a band for the most important day of your life is nerve racking, to say the least. We really liked your clips, but it still wasn't an easy choice. After much deliberating we decided to take the plunge. In the build up you were really responsive to all of our questions & on the day you turned up & set up discretely and when we were ready to go, you put on a great show. Not only did you sound amazing, you looked the part as well. With a professional setup, great set list and enough energy to keep everyone going all night. It was absolutely fantastic & we couldn't have asked for anything more. We couldn't recommend you highly enough it capped off an amazing day and the fact that you setup outside under the fairy lights so we could dance away the night with friends & family was magical. My only regret was that you had to stop. Thank you so much for making our wedding so special. I don't know what I had to worry about! Best of luck with the rest of the year, I hope it's a busy one. "

Everybody kept saying "What a fantastic band!", and I have to agree, you were great. I have recommended you to the venue we were at as they have 70's/80's evenings there all the time, and if I ever have another party, you will be at the top of my list. Once again, thank you."

"These guys are absolutely amazing!! Andy and Chris performed at my Chicago Blues evening on 30 April and not a person was left sitting for the majority of the night. The music they performed, the way they interacted with the audience and the professionalism of these two is second to none. I would most definitely book them again with no hesitation and wish I could do a Blues Brothers night every month! If you're looking for this kind of act, then I really don't think you'd find much better than 106 Miles to Chicago."

Everyone said how it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and that was completely down to the efforts of every one involved. "This band are amazing, they played our first dance live which was a lovely start to the evening. They play a wide variety of music from Motown to current songs and played requested songs. All in all they made our day really special. We highly recommend."

"Soulbaby performed a set of her original material for a party in our garden. She arrived on time, did an excellent job and was good company afterwards. Our friends were all very complimentary about the beauty of JSoulbaby's voice. Her original material is thoughtful and mature. "
