"I’m so sorry I didn’t get to speak to you on Thursday to say thank you for the wonderful music (on 8th October 2015 at Lothian Chambers, Edinburgh) , both Martin and I were caught up in the whirlwind of emotions! Thank you so much, it really made the atmosphere so special and I know our guests enjoyed hearing you play. In particular your version of ‘One Day Like This’ was amazing."

"The band were great. The booking process was simple and they kept in touch in the lead up to my charity event. The dance floor was full as they played a good mix of music for all age groups and genres. Would highly recommend."

"The Hot Hats played at an event my employers were holding to celebrate 50 years in business and I don't think they could have chosen anyone better. They were asked to play songs from the 60s and they played a fantastic selection of songs from that era. A perfect mixture for the event, and everyone there loved it. I think it's testament of their powers to entertain that there were people who had experienced the songs first time round singing along, getting involved while children danced around to songs they may never have heard before! The boys are friendly, engaging and brilliant performers. Thank you for an amazing time, Hot Hats"

It’s all about their ability to engage with the crowd and make everyone in the audience feel seen and appreciated. "Eccentric pony were absolutely incredible! I don’t think we could have found a better band to play at our wedding reception. They transformed the evening into a night to remember. All of our guests have been telling us how amazing the band was and how much they enjoyed them. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a high energy, professional band. All I can say is a huge thankyou to Jimmy and the rest of the band members for making our wedding reception perfect! Harry & Rachel x"

"When your wedding guests say: “the band were amazing!”… “how did you find the band?”… “every song was perfect”… “I was so tired the next day because I danced all night!” - you know you struck gold! Mitch & the band were brilliant from start to finish, playing our small village hall like it was Glasto!! Such amazing energy and a faultless set list that got all the parents, aunts and uncles onto the dance floor as well as us 30-somethings!! They knew how to get a crowd going and our dance floor was hopping the whole night. The band graciously learned a new song for us, which we appreciated no end, especially when they played it as the penultimate song and the crowd went wild for it!! Mitch was easy to deal with, and really kind and accommodating to us as first-time band hirers. On the night the whole group were really patient with us when the order of the day ran late. Thanks for playing your part in making our celebration the best time ever, we’re so grateful! If you’ve read this far, don’t hesitate, book them now! "

"After having had an awful 2022 Matt and I decided to throw a party, we had about 45 people in mind to invite but we wanted a band. I’m always put off by huge ones that you can never really hear the voices and your head and ears ache from the constant boom boom. Finding Alfie on a google search was exciting, they sounded exactly what we were looking for, for our intimate gathering. No problem at all to deal with prior to booking, which was simple and clear, we didn’t know at that time we were in for a treat, wow, the evening was absolutely superb. Alfie and Owens sound is brilliant, you can clearly hear the songs and the music, great vocals, no ear ache, just super super sounds coming from them. The choice of music suited our evening, and the requested songs to play were no problem. They integrated with our guests, some ‘hot’ to handle, and everyone had a fantastic evening, a massive thanks to you guys, it felt like we had friends with us, not a hired in band - and yes, we will see you again! (If you’ll come back that is!)"
