"Where do I start.. words cannot and will never be able to explain how great these guys truly are. I came across them online whilst searching for a band for our wedding and immediately knew I had to have them on the day! Initially, I knew there was a slight logistical issue as we were getting married in Jersey! but Ian was immediately up for the challenge to make sure they played for us on our special day. From start to finish, ferries to accommodation, he was amazing and so attentive making sure everything was perfect. We are so blessed to have met you all and to have shared our special day with you. We haven’t spoken to one wedding guest that didn’t mention how amazing the band were. Genuinely think you guys were the highlight of the day rather than the ceremony ? We had so much fun and laughter the whole evening. Couldn’t have wished or dreamed for better entertainment. You made our day, you really did. We will remember it forever. "Thank you so much for being part of our day, it made a world of difference having that feel of Scotland present with us on our special day in Portugal and brought such a great atmosphere to everything. "Matt is a brilliant musician and our event wouldn't have been the same without him. He was professional from the very first point of contact and was able to accommodate our requirements perfectly. He arrived within plenty of time of the event and is just genuinely a really nice guy who is also very talented. Our guests loved his music! I couldn't recommend him enough to anyone who loves acoustic music. "

"I just wanted to thank you for making our Christmas party go so smoothly. You were professional from the initial booking right through to the evening itself. "Hreat music, great band and really nice guys. We have had a band every year for the past 10 years and The Spectrum have been by far the best. Will be having them back next year no doubt! If you are looking for a band then I would highly recommend them."

"We had the absolute pleasure of hosting Lianna at Golden Fords Café—and she was fantastic. Punctual, professional, and incredibly easy to work with, Lianna brought such elegance and charm to our sunset event. Her voice is stunning, and our guests were genuinely blown away. The atmosphere she created was exactly what we’d hoped for—relaxed, soulful, and memorable. We’ll definitely be inviting her back for future events. Highly recommended!"

"we booked rob for our wedding on sat 31st july at the tytherington club.. he certainly didnt dissapoint us.. he was absoloutly outstanding.. his voice is amazing. he sang all afternoon for us. the guests kept telling us he was fantastic...our wedding was peaky blinder gatsby themed and he even wore peaky blinders i was so happy.. rob had all our guests dancing within the first hour. he was fantastic.. i ca'nt recomend him enough.. i will most definatly book him again.. thankyou.. mr n mrs turner xx"

"What a brilliant group! We have always had great parties with live music and having looked at ‘The Mystery Machine’ links on this site, we had discussions with them about our party theme, their set & play lists, our preferences, the venue, etc. They were really professional and helpful from the outset & we had no reservations in booking them without having heard them play live. They set up in plenty of time, checked timings & duration for each set, etc. with us & were just brilliant from start to finish. We danced non-stop & everyone commenting upon how fantastic they were & asking us where we had come across them. The transition from live to their background music between sets was seamless. Above all, they have real stage presence – great range, strong vocals, tight playing & energy. They helped make our party so much fun & we cannot recommend them highly enough – they exceeded our every expectation & we are still buzzing weeks later!!! Lyn & Roger "

"Wow just wow. Absolutely loved my party and that is all because of Claire! She was just incredible and all my guests said the same! I had a gatsby party and she even dressed the part and got involved with the theme! Highly recommend and such a lovely person!"

It was the perfect thing to have for people to quietly enjoy… being out on the balcony, listening to you was unbelievable.
