"I hired Stephen for my best friend’s surprise 50th birthday party! Stephen was extremely professional but also incredibly witty and funny during his set between songs! He had us all in hysterics! 😆 I got to choose the songs he played from a very varied play list which was brilliant! His singing and guitar playing were fantastic! We were all blown away by him & he far exceeded all my expectations in every way! 💯 recommend him without reservation! Superb! Thanks again Stephen!!"

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Katherine’s 50th Birthday Ceilidh – April 2025 I booked Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio for my wife’s 50th Birthday barn dance. The booking process and communication was great. On the night, from the off, everyone was up dancing. The instructions were great and they really got us all into the spirit. Lots of comments from our friends about how good they were. Thanks to all for an amazing night of music and dance. Would definitely recommend."

"We had Jeff for our wedding in September, he played along side our first dance song then went on to do 2x 30minute sets! Set a great atomsphere and everybody commented on how much they enjoyed it! "Impressed with communication from initial contact through to day of the event. Wide an varied music selection of which we had a choice of selecting. Worked well with my schedule for my party and were agreeable to my plans but most importantly they played and sang some great songs and got the party going with a great atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend them and would use them again. Book them ! You will not be disappointed"
