"We hired the dj for our wedding in Darlington and they didn’t disappoint, everything was covered and with just the right mix to get guests up dancing and singing. Was a memorable night, the added sax session made the night. Thanks again for being part of our day x"

"Henry and the Southwest Band, were the the best choice myself and Jen made for the wedding day. An absolute pleasure and a delight. They ROCKED the show, from the very first song to the final encores X2 😂. They also actively encouraged the guests to have the best time. Even though a mosh pit did breakout at one point. We love you guys, look forward to seeing you again. X"

"Rich was easy to deal with from the start and very flexible and relaxed which in turn helped us relax on the day knowing that he was going to be ready when we needed him to be. As a pianist myself I appreciate the level of dedication he has given to performing and arranging his repertoires. Whilst I'm not a professional like Richard I do have Grade 7 and am perform keyboards with a band so I was quite particular about who we hired to play. Not only for me but also for our guests, many of whom were musical also! 10/10!!"

"Small Days guitarist Dave Merrick was the master of ceremonies, with vocalist Natalie Davies and sax player Brendan Whitmore joining him for the live songs. Dave unfolded the story at a well-judged pace, with records of Bessie Smith’s evocative voice even drawing applause from the attentive audience whenever they were included. The live contribution was important, too, and Natalie wisely steered away from imitating Bessie’s full-throated contralto to emphasis the singer’s lyrics with an upbeat swing on numbers like Need A Little Sugar and Send Me To The Electric Chair. Brendan Whitmore switched between soprano and tenor sax, the former particularly eloquent on Need A Little Sugar, the latter coming to the fore on T’Aint Nobody’s Business If I Do. All in all it was a satisfying journey through blues history with one of the great women who made the music what it became. "Just wanted to thank you again for attending my lovely mum's funeral. A new Orleans send off was what she requested, but she and the rest of the family did not think it would really be possible. She was a generous quirky woman and I was determined. In the end you made it so easy and your outfits and music choice were perfect. You all played so well. "Full marks to Ebor string quartet for making a great day even more special. I highly recommend them. They were so friendly and professional. On a beautiful sunny day they created a wonderful atmosphere with their mix of classic and modern music. There are now a lot of converts to their beautiful music having heard them play! Everyone loved it. Communication was very good leading up to and on the day. Many many thanks to all involved."

"I booked Barn With Us for my husbands 60th birthday party at our house. They were absolutely Fantastic, the whole band and equipment were extremely professional and Lilac’s voice is amazing. There was lots of communication with Lilac before the event so I felt really confident I was going to get the sort of performance that suited my party. The event was fairly small with only 35 guests but Lilac really brought the party to life with lots of interaction, everyone loved it and had so much fun. I would highly recommend them Thank you so much Barn with us for making my party feel really special x "

"I have booked Jodie as a female DJ for a corporate networking event in Paris, France back in June 2019. I only have excellent words for her. She was really quick to get back to me on her availability and all technical question I might have had at the time. She is really professional and talented, she ensured prior to the event to understand what was required from her, what was the demographic, the event about, the technical set up, etc. Travel and accommodation were booked for her and she arrived early at the venue to meet the technical team, set up, and was ready to perform as per contract. She presents very well and was very flexible on-site to ensure any last-minute changes and request were met. I highly recommend her! She is well travelled and has a lovely personality. I also know she can sing (beautiful voice) and has a Chinese repertoire which is brilliant! She also graciously did an announcement to call to an end as the venue had to close at the end of our event. Guests were coming to her to take pictures with her and her references for future events! Jodie was a great asset to the event and my end client was extremely pleased with her DJ skill and level of professionalism. It certainly went down well, so much so that my client is now asking if we can rebook her again this year."
