"Just wanted to say thank you to everyone at Murphy's Lore for Saturday night - you were fantastic and absolutely made the day. We had lots of first time ceilidh-ers who were sceptical before it began and they kept telling me how much fun they were having! This really was the most fun evening. Great energy and enthusiasm . What happy memories we will all have of all that laughter"

"Mira & Adam provided the perfect backdrop for my 40th party - such an eclectic age range of guests and they kept everyone happy! Amazing tunes and vocals & wish we could have kept on dancing all night - thank you guys for the music and memories! Mira was so helpful and responsive throughout the booking process - couldn’t recommend highly enough."

"The AfterParty have been great from start to finish. Louise has been an excellent communicator, providing all relevant documents, curating a setlist to best suit our event & setting up quickly on arrival. They played a perfect mix of party classics that had everyone up on their feet, and have been super friendly and professional throughout the whole process. We have nothing but positive feedback! "I have know Mark personally for many years and have only ever known him to put 100% in to every aspect of his music career so when my wife and I started to plan our big day, I knew that his passion and skill would bring something really special and unique to the day.We had The Swing Gents trio perform at our wedding and the guys were fantastic! Really set the mood for the afternoon whilst we were having the photos taken. The set list that Mark put together was perfect and really encompassed the feel of the day.Would highly recommend Mark and The Swing Gents for any event."

"Normally i walk away when there's live jazz at the venues but these guys attitude is the right one! They really look down to earth playing the music they enjoy and the good vibe comes straight at your face putting a smile on it. Can't wait to cross their path again."

"Ceilidh With Us were amazing! We hired them for a post wedding celebration party and they were everything we wanted them to be. Super helpful in all the contact in the run up to the event and made us feel very relaxed. On the day they could not have been nicer and were super flexible/helpful. The caller for the Ceilidh was excellent - kept our guests very entertained! Thank you so much. I would 100% recommend you to anyone."

"On a day of great uncertainty about the weather, it was a pleasure to work with band to make sure our garden party had the right musical ambiance. They found just the right feel for the event, playing with very high standards and finding just the right music. I would be love to hear them again, whether in an informal setting like our party or on stage at a concert hall. "

"Sonia played to a packed and appreciative house at St Ives Jazz Club with two thoughtfully considered and slickly performed sets of songbird standards, mingled with the occasional more modern classic from the likes of Randy Crawford and even Sting. The band accompany Sonia with a suitably understated groove, giving this blossoming vocalist plenty of space, but impress when it’s called for with some fine solo and ensemble instrumental play – all very solid musicians, making this band an impressive and satisfying unit!"
