"We've been running concerts in our living room for just over two years and have hosted two outstanding, memorable Jazz concerts involving Nigel's Verve Jazz trio, with Terry Seabrook and Al Scott with Nigel on bass and Darren Beckett on drums. The quality of musicianship and atmosphere was really exceptional a physical, heartfelt performance from all with particularly beautiful, intimate solos from Nigel. Hope to have you back again very soon. "

"I booked the lads from Below the Border for my wife's 60th birthday party and they were exactly as described. Brilliant musicians one and all and they kept everyone dancing until well after midnight with popular rock hits from the 70s and that swingy blues that you just HAVE to get up and dance to (no matter how old you are!) Lovely chaps too. Polite, eductated, down to earth, and they have that dry sense of humour musicians often have. I thoroughly recommend them. And we were AMAZED at how cheap they were for such a brilliant band. I don’t think they’re playing for the money! Just incredible guitar playing. Boys, long may you keep on truckin' as we used to say. Thanks thanks and thanks again. John and Doreen "

"I wanted to thank you and the band for a wonderful afternoon of entertainment - the playing and singing was marvellous and not too loud so people could enjoy listening and talking at the same time and also inspired some dancing!! A lot of people asked where I found you so should anyone have an event coming up and need a jazz band I will pass on your details. "They are a fab couple! So genuine & Both brilliant singers!! More than willing to learn song requests & keep everyone entertained! They are able to adapt their singing for different styles ranging from acoustic sets, folk, jazz, soul and pop! They’ve done a brilliant job at the Falésia Hotel in the Algarve, Portugal. Perfect couple for any occasion!"

"I booked 'The Grand Central Trio' for my 60th birthday party. They were fabulous: on time, friendly, professional and oh so talented!. They created a great atmosphere on the night. Communication was straightforward and thorough and they were very patient with my endless emails and phone calls. I would certainly recommend them."

"Had these lads playing at our wedding, brilliant sound, brilliant atmosphere, original songs that are excellent, great cover songs. Always get the audience singing and dancing. Have seen them quite a few times since at various venues. Would recommend everyone go see them. "

"Everyone had a fabulous time at the Ceilidh on Friday night. Most people were beginners at the event but Sarah, the caller, got everyone dancing away. She was very clear, so everyone knew exactly what they should be doing and there weren't too many toes stepped on! It was great fun and the musicians were professional and sounded great. We all had a lovely time dancing and listening to the band. Vikki"
