"WHAT A FANTASTIC BAND!!! I really couldn't recommend The Marvellous Motown Souls enough to anyone - nothing was too much trouble and they were so accommodating! They play a whole range of different music to suit all tastes and we even had a music medley quiz for our event and were blown away to learn they actually learnt how to play each song! They have a great chemistry together and you can tell they really love what they do, so if you are looking for a hassle free band that bring a whole lot of energy, fun and dancing to your event, look no further than The Marvellous Motown Souls! On behalf of the KTP Team I would just like to say a huge thank you to Lizy, James, Nick, Max, Ben & Toby for making our event one to remember! Laura x"

"I just wanted to pass on a massive thank you to you and the rest of the band for a truly awesome performance at our wedding in December. The evening was everything we hoped it would be and that is largely down to the fabulous atmosphere created by yourselves which got most people (nearly 100 at one point!!) up, dancing and thoroughly enjoying themselves. All of our guests have commented on what a great night it was and how good the band were and Rob and I certainly had a fantastic evening. Also thanks to the DJ/sound man for putting up with lots of drunken requests from the bridesmaids, much appreciated! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone having a wedding or other form of party as a great fun party band. Finally, can I just comment the fee charged was incredibly good value for such quality entertainment! Thanks again - Helen Gregory (Wedding Tortworth Court)"

"The ultra-stylish Kit Packham’s One Jump Ahead band is now 30 years old. For this Sunday afternoon gig at the award-winning Hideaway, they performed a rollicking set of songs ranging from 1940s and 1950s jump/jive, R&B and classic rock ‘n’ roll, to jazz standards and originals, featuring the band’s core seven-piece line-up: Bandleader and composer, Kit Packham on saxophones and lead vocal, Steve Knight on guitar, Perry White on piano, Alex Keen on double bass, Kenrick Rowe on drums, Tracey Mendham on saxophones and vocals, and Simon Da Silva on trumpet and flugelhorn. Striking in a blue pinstripe suit and fedora, Packham resembled Frank Sinatra, and he introduced numbers in a clear and informative way. They opened with one of the band’s original tunes, ‘Swing It’, which immediately propelled people to the dance floor. The band’s perky theme tune, ‘One Jump Ahead’, contained one of Packham’s signature, impactful abrupt endings and deadpan Knight added even more colour to the act by performing a nose flute solo on The Blues Brothers classic, ‘Minnie the Moocher’. White nailed a stunning boogie-woogie piano solo punctuated by thrillingly deep bass notes from Mendham on baritone saxophone on ‘Choo Choo Ch’Boogie’, and they even managed to squeeze in a world premiere featuring Vera Lynn’s World War II song, ‘We’ll Meet Again’: Loosely named ‘The Last Song Of The Set’, it cleverly welded an old song onto a new one. Eventually the two tunes overlapped, bringing the gig to an impressive end. The time flew; a sure sign that Kit Packham’s One Jump Ahead with its thoroughly well-written arrangements and heartfelt blend of comedy and music, had done a fine job of bringing this classy joint to life."

"Wow... I cannot describe how thrilled both me and Daniel are to have had Party Box celebrate our special day with us! The dance floor was full throughout both sets and the atmosphere was 'electric'! All of our guests complimented the band and are continuing to do so... We truly feel that they made our wedding and will highly recommend them to anyone considering a live band for any occasion. Their professionalism and enthusiasm was superb with constant contact from booking all the way through to their performance! I would personally like to thank you all for attending and making our night so memorable... It was so much fun! "

"The Blue Suede Shoes performed at my 21st Birthday party and were absolutely amazing. This is the 2nd time we had heard them as they previously performed at our local pub on Mothers Day and went down a storm. The band are so professional and ensure the volume of music is just right for the occasion. Most bands allow you to select just one song choice in addition to their normal play list but The Blue Suede Shoes were so flexible and I was able to select six songs of my own which they learnt before the occasion and performed amazingly. Their play list is so varied and caters for every occasion. Everybody loved them at the party and I have no doubt it wont be long before we see them again. I cant recommend them enough for any type of occasion."

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one. "Emma was absolutely brilliant. She made our wedding afternoon, a last minute booking due to a cancellation but Emma took time and effort to ensure she was prepared and created a set list which was just perfection. She included songs which were personal to me and my family. Her voice is beautiful and she is just stunning. Thank you Emma! Need to book another party so we can have her back."

"Josh has created something very special here. They have taken something that has been around for many years ie a rock and roll/rockabilly band and managed to make it sound and look completely brand new. I have been watching live bands for two decades now and also playing in many myself and the Rockabilly Raucous are one of the best I have ever seen. A superb debut original album too."
