"We initially weren’t sure we wanted a band at our wedding, but after hearing Funky Friday at a friend’s wedding and seeing how much more fun it made the dancing, we were so impressed we had to have them. A huge range of songs that everyone loves and they even sent us audio so we could practice our first dance to it! Everyone at our wedding was talking about how good they were, and in hindsight we are so glad we booked them. Happy to recommend the band to anyone for weddings, parties, events, etc., you won’t regret it!"

"Just got back from honeymoon and wanted to say a massive thank you to you & the rest of the band, you all did such an incredible job at our wedding bringing the party to life in the evening & I did not get off the dance floor all night! Not only that but you went that extra mile to learn "hold on" especially for me & it was such a special treat to have all my friends dancing to my favourite song. I can't thank you enough for everything you helped to make our day the most amazing day of our life, I could not recommend you more highly. "Hi Ben, I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the band for Saturday night. From the very first email, you've been fantastic to deal with. Answering all my questions and making sure every detail is correct. Then on the night, the band turned up early, set up promptly, were all dressed for the occasion and of course, played a brilliant couple of sets of music. I've had so many compliments on the band from those who came to the party. The best bit was how enthusiastic the band were to recreate the 'Back to the Future' theme, adding in the extra song 'Night Train' to really bring it to life. We had numerous dropouts due to coronavirus but it was still a great night! Thanks again, Natalie"

"I hired the Urban Myth for my 50th birthday bash November 2022. They were very professional indeed, they were on site, set up and out of the way before my guests arrived. From the moment they started playing they had my friends and family on the dance floor. However, the biggest surprise was that my partner told them that I was a huge Gary Newman fan and despite them being an RnB band, they learnt a Gary Numan song just for me and even let me sing it with the band, what a fantastic gesture, that really made my night!! The days that followed I was asked multiple times who the band was, and I was more than happy to pass on their details. I wouldn’t think twice about booking these guys again for any future celebration. If you are thinking of booking them, just do it, you won’t be disappointed."

"A brilliant night, fantastic sound, had the entire venue up and dancing. Lots of favourites with something for everyone to enjoy from the 60’s to up to date numbers. Recommend Martin and Roy for a fun filled, professional evening of entertainment."
