Not only did they sound amazing, the atmosphere was out of this world - they got everyone up dancing and it was literally the best night ever! "Booked Marc to appear at Galway Uke Fest in 2018 and again in 2022. His eclectic mix of styles and great musicianship always enthralled the audience. A mix of jazz standards and rock and pop classics keeps the audience engaged and guessing what was coming next. Not to mention his original music which stands on its own merits. He uniquely adapts his set to the occasion digging into his rich repertoire. His workshops are top quality and always much appreciated. In addition to his scheduled gigs, Marc also played a couple of impromptu sets in less formal settings (the pub!) and those who caught these still talk about his standing on the bar rocking out on his ukulele - you had to be there! A pleasure to deal with, always delivers - highly recommended…"

"My birthday ceilidh was extremely enjoyable and the band played a large part in setting and sustaining a lively and very jolly atmosphere! It certainly wasn't hard to get people on their feet and dancing and Alan's calling was clear and simple enough to follow, though, of course, not everyone managed to do so absolutely all the time. "From day one you both have been a dream to work with. Very professional, prompt with email replies, polite, flexible and then there is your music! Wow! What can we say...you guys were amazing. The arrangement of Nessun Dorma and Happy both sounded incredible. Oh and Ave Maria was so special as it was the song that my mum walked down the aisle to and was a beautiful tribute to my parents and such a special moment too. When the doors opened and I could hear Nessun Dorma echoing throughout the church, I was overcome with the most amazing wave of emotion. It was truly so moving and there was not a dry eye in the house. My only regret was not actually being able to be there to hear you both play more at the beginning when our guests were arriving. I missed out! I'm actually on your facebook page listening to your music as I write this to make up for it (head bopping, foot tapping!) You are both such talented, gifted musicians and were a delight to listen to. We wish you every bit of success for your futures and thank you so much for making our day so special. We have no hesitation in recommending you and would 100% love to have you both play again for us at some future event for sure."

"The Lonely Hearts come highly reccommended. True professionals. Their contact ahead of the event was regular. They learnt a new song for our first dance which we werent expecting. They really added to our wedding and got everyone up dancing! Thanks to them for making the evening reception of our wedding so memorable."
