"From my perspective, Rory was polite, professional and played very well. He was excellent at communicating where he was, and was very conscientious to be placed somewhere suitable for the guests. Rory specifically wanted to ensure that when Anam and Alex were announced in to the evening reception, their arrival was accompanied by the correct song. Personally I would have now hesitation in recommending him for future bookings."

"Believe the hype and the 5 star reviews - these guys are epic! From the moment they started up, we were beaming. They were better than we could possibly have hoped for and some! Incredibly talented musicians, lead by the mighty Gav up front. They learnt a new song for us (with only one rehersal's notice!) and played two blinding sets. At one point, when I was stressing over timings, Gav sorted everything (singer and wedding planner in one well dressed man!) we cannot say a big enough THANK YOU, you guys took our wedding to the next level and gave us memories we will never, ever forget! We hope you'll come and party with us again sometime! Love Emily & Sam"

"Thank you guys for last night! You made our wedding reception lively and fun, just as we wanted, and your rendition of Metallica's "nothing else matters" for our first dance was really impressive! Especially the guitar solo! Amazing, you guys are really skilled and talented. All our guests were raving about how good you were. " The Wigornia String Quartet have amazing talent! They played in two different locations splitting their time and nothing was too much to ask to ensure our wedding day was perfect! Our requested songs were played along with more beautiful tunes chosen by themselves and they were all stunning! "Having Lyra Strings play at our wedding was an absolute joy. From our very first conversation, she was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail, ensuring all our requests were handled in such a personal and reassuring way. We had a specific song in mind for the start of our ceremony, and Lyra Strings performed it beautifully. It created the most romantic and emotional atmosphere, and so many of our guests came up to tell us how much they loved it. Even days later, we were still receiving messages about how her music was one of the standout moments of the day. We chose a mix of classical and modern pieces, and each one was performed with such elegance—it truly set the tone for a perfect day. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lyra Strings. "...would just like to say how absolutely wonderful Becky was. Family, friends and Celebrant were equally enthralled ... commenting how beautiful Becky's performance was. Becky's soulful, yet pure voice complemented my Sister's funeral service perfectly. Despite the short notice on my behalf (a different soloist had let me down) Becky did a wonderful job of interpreting my sisters favorite songs beautifully, using both acoustic guitar and violin... and my goodness Becky's voice is just heavenly. I genuinely couldn't have asked for a more perfect final farewell for my beloved sister who loved music so much. Thank you so very much to both Becky (such a wonderful talent) and Sarah-Jane (for helping to make the whole process so easy and simple), you both made a day that I had dreaded so very beautiful and memorable... thank you xx"

"Wow- what a night! The band arrived at the party venue which was a shed in the middle of no where to them and they provided a fantastic range of music! I had spoken with Ben and said that guests might take a bit of persuading to dance but we were up at the first and didn't sit till the end- resulting the next day having sore feet! The guys were great and guests were wanting to book them for other occasions! Can't wait to see them again - and even left a lovely note thanking us for a great night!"

"Found Rachel on this web site and we are so glad we did. The performance at out wedding was fantastic and was more than worth the fee. Rachel entertained our guests before the ceremony when they arrived and then after the ceremony before the wedding breakfast. Our guests were so impressed and complimentary about the performance. It set a really good vibe to the start of our day and put everyone in a fun, party mood. The booking process was so easy and low maintenance. Rachel is a genuine nice person and very talented. Don't miss out ! "
