"Lizy and Toby performed at our wedding at Thorpe Park at the end of May. From the moment I met Lizy at a wedding fair I knew I wanted her to sing at our wedding. Lizy is an amazing singer, has a lovely personality, she is friendly, professional and completely put us at ease (which is difficult to do with us). Our wedding day was a wonderful day made more so by having such fantastic performances. All our guests commented on how wonderful the music was from the singing during the drinks reception to the acoustic duo sets in the evening. Lizy and Toby were fab, fab, fab."

"From the youngest to the oldest guest you got everyone up dancing and without exception, they loved the sets you played for us. It was the highlight of the wedding weekend and just complete fun from beginning to end. We wanted everyone to enjoy themselves, relax and party and you delivered that for us in abundance. "

"The band were a pleasure to work with, professional but friendly. They set up very efficiently and discretely considering their arrival time was mid-meal. Considering they had a tricky audience demographic of 65-90 year olds, they managed to get people up on the dance floor with gentle encouragement, for a fabulous end to a great event. Would book again for sure. Thank you!"

"Just wanted to say thank you SO much for the music at our wedding. You made the evening! We both loved the choice of music and thank you so much for playing 'At Last' as our first dance - you said it wasn't on your normal set list but it sounded amazing. You guys are great. "Well the fact that we have already re-booked Glora speaks for its self. Gloria & her guitarist are both professional and friendly. Gloria's charm and personality is a breath of fresh air. Our guests loved the evening, and how couldn't they listening to the majestic voice of Gloria and her truly talented guitarist. We would fully recomend Gloria to anyone looking to plan a sepctaulaer event and wow their guests. "

"Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio performed at a surprise party for my wife’s 60th Birthday recently. It was intended to be a function at which people could be fully involved and Boy! Did they do just that! I honestly cannot remember such a function where all of the guests were agreed it was an evening to remember that was also such fun. The whole success of the celebration came from the bands active participation and willingness to do everything possible to make the evening into a night to remember. That, they surely did. Thank you Black Velvet Ceilidh Band. You and the band made my wife very, very happy. She will not forget and neither will I. You are indeed very special musicians and very special people. May I wish you all well."
