"We decided on a ceilidh for our wedding reception; we thought it would give our day a great "party" feel. My husband is also Dutch and we wanted something that would suit everyone regardless of age, background and language. We definitely hit the jackpot with Blue Jewel - they did a fantastic ceilidh and the atmosphere was brilliant. We even had grandparents joining in the dancing! The instructions were clear and perfect for all language levels, and Blue Jewel was very flexible (we were running a little late) and had even looked up a Dutch song/dance especially for our wedding! We really enjoyed it and have had nothing but compliments about the band, music, and what a great idea the ceilidh was. I would definitely recommend!"

"Before the event Dave did everything possible to work with us and make sure that it all went without a hitch, which was much appreciated. He and the rest of his group were friendly and professional throughout, and our guests loved seeing the joy they so clearly get from what they do. We hadn’t tried jazz at our hotel before, but it went down really well and we received lots of great feedback."

"For Duo - Chris and Andy were phenomenal. Absolutely everything we wished for. Our wedding was not your average wedding as it was out in the woods with no electricity. Chris and Andy went above and beyond and we would recommend them to anyone. Every single person at the wedding commented on how good Chris and Andy were. They played all the song we requested and made the performance very fun. We didn’t want them to stop performing! Thank you so much for making our special day even more incredible. I will recommend you guys to everyone and we hope to use you again for another event. Thank you again! "

"We were bowled over by the band! The 2 sets were perfectly pitched to get dancers onto the floor, really good musicianship and sound system. 10/10. Before the day Mark was in good contact and made sure that we had the event we wanted, also early arrival and set up so we could relax on the day. Cannot thank them enough, highly recommended. "Would definitely recommend! We booked the guys for our wedding and from the booking process to the night of the event, Lilac and Ceilidh With Us were so professional, easily contactable, and friendly. On the night the performance (both ceilidh and covers) was brilliant and brought so much energy and joy to our wedding. These guys are great!"

"We had B&M for our company Christmas party and they were amazing. They really know how to interact with the crowd and keep the energy up. It didn’t feel like just a trio playing in the corner, they made everyone feel part of it. Even the more “serious” managers were dancing by the end. Sound quality was perfect and they looked very professional too. Would definately book again."
