"One word....WOW we booked them for our wedding and they are amazing all our guests asked where we found them!! From playing our first dance to amazing music and dj set!' Up on our feet dancing all night!! They are fast to respond and cater to everyone's taste!!Book them you won't be dissapointed!!"

"Have followed these guys to quite a few gigs over the years and yet never tire of listening to them sing/play. Wherever they play they never fail to fill the dance floor. Their music is of various genres and sung with feeling. Having had the pleasure of knowing one of the guitarists many years ago they even took on a song suggested that has now been attributed to me! If covid hadn’t struck they would’ve played at my 50th birthday party! We cannot rate them more. "

"Katy sang for us at the evening reception of our wedding. Her voice was absolutely stunning and she had the friendly personality to match. We still get compliments from our guests now on how amazing she was. I would 100% recommend her to anyone who would like an incredible voice to top off their special day!"

"Well, where can I start! From initially stumbling upon Dr Jazz and realising that there was something rather special about their approach and unique sound, to the very first email and phone calls to discuss our plans for the day, all the way through to our Wedding day itself - Dr Jazz and company were brilliant. Helpful, friendly, and wonderfully entertaining, we could not have asked for anything more. The set itself was fantastic - we were blown away with how much of an impact they made, not only in terms of everyone feeling the urge to get up to dance (which was a slight worry for us before the day!), but also with their spot on interaction with the guests, and overall management and ownership of the evening. We really knew we'd made the right decision as soon as the first note was played – talk about creating a spectacle!! In terms of a front man Matthew is absolutely superb, and his supporting crew of brilliantly talented musicians helped make our day one to remember for both us and our guests. Thank you all so very much for everything. We know what it's like trying to find the 'right band', ourselves having trawled through many hundreds of sample tracks from other people and groups, and the worries that come with it regarding whether people will like it, whether it'll be well received etc. The best advice I can honestly give is that if you are sitting there reading this review, and you have enjoyed the sample tracks you've listened to, then please don't hesitate to book these guys. You will not regret it, and you and your guests will certainly never forget it. They were nothing short of marvellous. Once again we wanted to say thank you very much for everything - we really had a fantastic time, as did everyone else in attendance, and it is all thanks to you and your crew. You certainly made the evening, if not the day for us, and we are so pleased and lucky to have been able to book you to play for us. You were nothing short of brilliant, and we can't stop talking or thinking about how amazing you were (and nor can anyone else!) It was so lovely to meet you all in person. All the best for the future, and please rest assured that we'll be singing your praises for the years to come!"

"Rachel performed for us on the 25th at The Pheasant Inn in Winnersh - extremely professional service and even brought along a support act to start the evening off. Rachel performed a range of covers to cater to all of our customers and even took requests to ensure the atmosphere was buzzing! Extremely interactive with the audience and staff members on the evening encouraging everyone to join in and have a little boogie! - with this she even managed to get our loyal locals out of their little corner to come and enjoy the performance! (some of those even danced along!) Booked again for July and we cannot wait to see what is in store for the next performance! "

"We couldn’t recommend The Marvellous Motown Souls highly enough after we booked them to perform at our Enchanted Ball this October. The whole band were professional and sounded brilliant, the dance floor was always full and we would definitely book them again to entertain our guests at a future event. I am delighted to say that we raised £10,000 from this year’s Ball which we are delighted with. This really will go a long way in helping us to continue to provide our services here in Yorkshire to anyone affected by breast cancer. Thank you so much!"

"The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were a great asset to the evening. The band members were friendly and they were very good at spreading their enthusiasm with the party guests. They did not give me any cause to regret making the booking, and I would recommend them to others. The choice of dances was appropriate for the skill-level of the guests, and the caller was a good coach for those one or two who did not know their clockwise from their anticlockwise. They helped to make a really good evening that everyone enjoyed. Thank you."

"For 13 years I have coordinated highly successful ceilidh dances in Bishopbriggs High School and now the new Bishopbriggs Academy. These Christmas dances are the culmination of 3 weeks of social dance with all year groups and it it a priority of mine that we have live music to create an upbeat atmosphere. I consider it part of my job to ensure these traditional dances are taught in school in a way pupils will enjoy and will perpetuate. This year I secured the services of The Shooglers for our S5/6 dance. The evening was a fantastic success and enjoyed immensely by pupils and staff alike. The band worked a perfect blend of traditional Scottish dance tunes with contemporary music the pupils are familiar with, which heightened their participation in – and positive attitude to – “social dancing”. I have already asked the band to perform at next year’s S5/6 dance in the school. I know it will be a special occasion. I recommend The Shooglers unreservedly to anyone hosting school dances, weddings or any kind of function. "
