Review Centre: Function Bands

"We decided on a ceilidh for our wedding reception; we thought it would give our day a great "party" feel. My husband is also Dutch and we wanted something that would suit everyone regardless of age, background and language. We definitely hit the jackpot with Blue Jewel - they did a fantastic ceilidh and the atmosphere was brilliant. We even had grandparents joining in the dancing! The instructions were clear and perfect for all language levels, and Blue Jewel was very flexible (we were running a little late) and had even looked up a Dutch song/dance especially for our wedding! We really enjoyed it and have had nothing but compliments about the band, music, and what a great idea the ceilidh was. I would definitely recommend!"

"Wow, just wow!! We had Starbound as our wedding band for the evening. The band were simply amazing. We had an amazing evening and would like to say thank you so much to you and the Lightning Bolts for a great end to our wedding day. They were so polite and raised the roof off. Many guests were surprised and thoroughly enjoyed rocking out in the evening. We have had so many compliments so wanted to pass them on to you and the band. "

"I first saw Station 2 Station at another event in 2022 and I knew I wanted to have them at my wedding. They played an amazing set for 2.5 hours at my wedding at the weekend. Everyone loved them , as well as myself and husband! They really get the crowd going and have some absolute tunes! They have such a great play list you can choose from. So easy to speak to and arrange the event with with, plus they and super friendly guys that put you at ease when planning a big event. I would 100% recommend them ! Thanks again Station 2 Station for making our day so special and getting everyone up dancing! "

"We had TIDE at our wedding on Saturday and honestly they were the best! Our dance floor was full all night long. We were apprehensive about booking them because we hadn’t had the chance to see them perform so could only go on all the great reviews we read and so glad we did as they were fantastic. Every question or request I had before the day was answered straight away by Olly and nothing was too much. Thanks again guys!"

"The Lost played during our drinks reception and were brilliant! Thank you for creating such an amazing atmosphere and for learning a special request song for us. "We were absolutely over the moon with your service and performance at the Dulwich College 400 Anniversary Black & Blue ball. You all looked very smart, but Rock’n’Roll, in your black shirts and jeans; your setting up and help with the boys’ big band ( kindly letting them use your drum kit and amp) was seamless and last but not least, your sets were outstanding! The song choices were spot on, as you clearly know what gets everyone going. You may remember, we struggled to get the guests to leave the dance floor when the end of the evening was announced. If we hadn’t had to finish at a certain time, due to residential area and license, we would have had you play until daylight! We received many compliments, on your behalf, from guests’ feedback and will not hesitate in booking you again for any future parties."
