"Marina is absolutely fabulous. She accompanied us on her Celtic harp for a slightly unique wedding ceremony. We had chosen a few pieces that were not part of her repertoire which she played beautifully. Her incredible skill and sensitivity added immense joy and depth to our ceremony, creating an atmosphere that was both enchanting and heartfelt. Marina’s contribution went above and beyond our expectations, making our special day even more memorable and magical. We couldn't have asked for a more talented and dedicated musician to be part of our celebration. 1/2 "

"The band were fantastic last night, excellent all round and they really did a great job, we loved it! They helped to make the night the success it was with great song choices, professionalism, easy demeanour, and importantly great sound. I would recommend Hard to Handle to anyone without hesitation. "Ed and Oliviya were amazing - they were exactly what we wanted!! We hired them for my 21st birthday party and couldn't have asked for a better duo! Everyone absolutely loved them and i would 100% ask them to perform again in the future! "

"REVIEW OF OUR LATEST CD ALBUM IN JAZZ JOURNAL Kit Packham’s One Jump Ahead: Everybody Loves A Boogie The entertaining British jump-jive revival band ploughs the familiar furrow, offering cheeky covers and originals with occasional solos By Hugh Rainey -13 October 2023437 Formed in 1984, this UK group plays jump-jive in a bright and breezy, entertaining style, blended with R&B and vintage rock and roll, and seasoned with light-hearted humour. Leader Kit Packham sings confidently in appropriate style on every track bar one, and contributes alto and tenor to the backing throughout. Packham also composed and wrote the lyrics for eight of the tracks and alternative lyrics for some cheeky adaptations of standards – My Swingin’ Valentine (an upbeat treatment of My Funny Valentine, which surprisingly works quite well) and the very funny Basingstoke (to the melody of Baby Face) and Buy A CD (with appropriate uninhibited bathos to My Way). On the whole, the originals work well for the genre. Love Me, Love My Saxophone and I Dig Potatoes have amusing lyrics somewhat reminiscent of Louis Jordan and Slim Gaillard in style. Enjoyable versions of Don’t Get Around Much Any More, Is You Is Or Is You Ain’t My Baby and My Swingin’ Valentine, come closest to straightforward jazz treatment with some worthwhile brief solos and touches of arrangement. The tracks come from sessions in 2009, 2017 and 2023, mainly as six or seven piece lineups it seems, but with changing personnels. Though studio recorded, the CD comes across as cheery live entertainment – for dancers, rather than perhaps for close, serious listening. But it’s certainly good fun, with some inventive fresh material, and a sense of humour to give a welcome lift to your spirits in these troubled times. "Joe was absolutely amazing! If you are thinking of having a saxophonist at your wedding, definitely do it - and definitely book Joe! We had so many guests come up to us to say how fantastic he was - from creating a beautiful atmosphere at the ceremony to being such good fun at the party in the evening! Couldn’t recommend him more! "

"Frankie Santana was amazing at our wedding. Beforehand she made sure we were able to go through what kind of music we would like, and how the event would run, and then on the day she was punctual, friendly and really brought the party with the bongos! We had a lot of kids at our wedding and they absolutely loved dancing, the smoke machine and the bongos. Frankie was really good at getting them involved too. I would really recommend her to anyone looking for a great DJ for any event. She was a complete professional throughout the whole experience - book her now, you will be so glad you did!"

"What an absolute pleasure and privilege it was to welcome Cover Up to the Creigiau Inn on Saturday, 25th July. From the moment you started playing, you created the most incredible atmosphere, and it was so lovely to look around and see my guests smiling, singing, dancing, and genuinely having the best time. You brought such amazing energy to the pub, and I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better night. My guests absolutely loved every minute, and I have to say, I loved every minute too! It’s nights like this that remind me why I love what I do and why live music is so special. Seeing everyone come together, have fun, and make memories is what it’s all about. Thank you both so much you were absolutely brilliant, and it was a real pleasure to have you play in my pub. I really, really hope this isn’t the last time we get to welcome you to the Creigiau Inn. I would absolutely love to have you back when you’re next visiting Cardiff, and I’m already looking forward to hopefully doing it all over again! Thank you, guys, for an unforgettable evening. You were amazing, and you’ll always be welcome here at the Creigiau Inn."

"Iron Broo played at our wedding on the 30th May 2015 at Innes House. There were a lot of people from down south who hadn't ceilidh'd before and Charlie was brilliant at calling the dances and getting everyone involved. We also had a disco that Charlie provided later that evening. The whole evening was brilliant thank you Iron Broo."

"I just wanted to drop you a line and say a huge thank you for playing at our wedding in April. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to be getting ready upstairs and to hear the harp playing from the other side of the garden. It was so calming and peaceful when I felt so nervous at the time!! The harp made every part of the wedding so special - as I made my entrance, as we made our way back down the aisle and during the drinks reception outside. We had so many comments from our guests to compliment you and to say how lovely it was to hear the harp during the day. I really appreciate everything you have done for us and just wanted to let you know how amazing it was to have you there to play during the best day of our lives! Thank you so so much!"

"Eleanor played for a production of ours recently, and is a first-rate musician. It is the first time - and I hope not the last - that I have heard her perform. She is an outstanding violinist who plays magnificently and with confidence. Her skill and excellence brings unequivocal pleasure when listening to her exceptional performance. I would highly recommend her. Her professionalism, talent, and prowess are incomparable. And what a lovely person on top of all that!"
