"Mark, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for last Saturday. I’m sorry that I didn’t manage to speak to you on the day but I was very impressed with your piano playing skills. The service went really well and I really enjoyed each hymn you played and the congregation sang each song beautifully. I hope you found your way to the church without any problems. Once again, thank you so much for your services."

"Mark, thank you for playing the music for the Pride of Houghton Awards, which took place on the 7th October 2015. The evening was very successful and I am pleased to confirm that the guests at the event included the Vice Chairman of Central Bedfordshire Council, the speaker from Bedford Borough Council, The Mayor of Sandy and the Deputy Mayor from Flitwick, as well as members of the local community, the winners, and their guests. The guests very much enjoyed the evening, and your piano music was the perfect accompaniment to the buffet which followed the prize presentations. Once again, very many thanks."

"I have worked with Shean for a number of years and he is extremely organised, talented and reliable. I would have no hesitation in recommending his services to you. Not only is Shean a fabulous organist, he is an extremely experienced choir trainer and is very good at booking the best singers for the occasion. When you work with Shean, you will be working with the ultimate professional who is excellent at communication (and quick!) Thank you! "

"Mark has played for our choir numerous times since I have been a member and he always gives us 110% of his talent when acommpaning us. Mark's talent adds special undertones to our choir arrangements and makes us sound amazing. We're very grateful whenever Mark can play for us. "

"Mark came to play for my husband's 40th Birthday and he was absolutely incredible! A true gentleman and a one of the best pianists I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was so professional from the moment he arrived, he took into account all of our requests and even allowed my husband to get up and have a sing along. I now cannot wait to have more parties and will be sure to book Mark every time as he really made the party go with a bang. Mark, thank you so much, everyone loved you!"

"Robert was excellent, it was a pleasure to work with him. The playing complimented the evening perfectly and I received a number of compliments about the background music. He was very easy to work with and I would fully recommend his services to others who are planning events etc. Many thanks. "

"Gareth is brilliant! I did a saxophone Diploma a few weeks ago, and my arranged accompanist pulled out just a month in advance, but Gareth stepped in (in spite of an extremely busy Christmas season) and made time to rehearse with me thoroughly and accompany me in the exam. By the time the test came round I felt totally confident and prepared. His accompaniment was excellent, he communicated with me and followed my quirky timings, he responded to emails really quickly, and he's also a lovely guy."

"Very professional, we meet a few times and he knows his job. Not only an excellent pianist and organist but also knows the wedding dynamic and tempos. He will deliver what is needed on the wedding day and will take all your worries. Mark is the pianist/organist you are looking for, period."

"Laurence, thank you so much for playing at George's christening. Not only was your playing excellent but I also really appreciate your patience and adaptability given l didn't give you a huge amount of information beforehand - you certainly made the process very stress free for me and we will certainly use you again in the future should we need anything else playing in the church. "Gareth played at our wedding in Chiswick on 20th June 2015 and we can't praise him enough. We had a church service with two choirboys, Gareth went through the options with us all and worked with the boys to make them feel comfortable. Gareth not just an accomplished musician but a lovely guy to work with. We highly recommend him. Colm and Rebecca. "

"Mark was absolutely wonderful. In the lead up to the big day, he offered lots of suggestions to help us decide, but was really flexible (and happy to take on and learn new songs like "the book of love"). Mark went above and beyond duty with the prelude music as the groom's parents got caught behind an accident so Mark serenaded our guests for an extra half hour and even took a request that earned him a standing ovation. It is fair to say that Mark goes above and beyond as music is an art and passion to him; As I walked down the aisle he combined the organ with an orchestral compliment from his keyboard that worked beautifully together. We also asked Mark to play a few instrumental tunes as we signed the register on his keyboard,it was beautiful and melodic- there was no hint that he'd only just added one of them to his repertoire and he led us out with the joyful "arrival of the queen of Sheba." Thanks for everything! Highly recommended! "

"Mark, thank you for playing the piano so brilliantly at our Wedding Party last Thursday evening. Your music set the perfect atmosphere at the Belvedere, thank you for learning our requests quickly which were played with ease, and you even accompanied our guest West End singer without a run through and no sheet music! Many of our guests commented on your flawless performance and variety of music, Elton John, David Bowie and even Bollywood themes, amazing! We couldn’t have wished for anyone better, and would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone wanting an expert Wedding musician."

"While planning a vintage tea party for Mum’s 90th birthday party, I needed an accompanist and piano player for my wartime and 40’s style sing along, which I planned to lead. My search found me the super talented and very accurate perfectionist Mark Burton at lastminutemusicians.com. When I made telephone contact and explained what I was planning, he totally understood and was very helpful making suggestions for songs to be played, arrangements and keys. We then had lots of communication over email, he was prompt to answer any questions and bent over backwards to help. On the day of the performance he greeted me with a smile and did his best to quell my nerves, during his solo spot, he played with distinction lots of old favourite tunes as background music. He played the piano in the venue for around 45 minutes solo then took a break and came back on his own keyboard with myself on vocals for a further hour set as accompaniment to my singing and the family sing along to tunes such as “putting on the Ritz” and a wartime medley from “pack up your troubles” through lots of other wonderful tunes ending on “land of hope and glory”. The result was that my Mother and indeed all of the family were thrilled to bits. They have been raving about it so much. It has given us outstanding and lasting memory of the perfect birthday with perfect entertainment supplied by Mark. Thank you so very much Mark you are an outstanding musician and I will recommend you to anyone in need."
