"My husband and I are so fortunate to have had Mark be our pianist. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgable and flexible. He has a broad repertoire of music and was able to play all the songs we requested for our church ceremony without any issues. In addition, he was able to keep our guests hugely entertained whilst playing at our reception drinks. Would highly recommend him. "

"Gareth - thank you for making our wedding perfect with your world class organ playing. This guy has to be met and heard to be believed - anything is possible and he takes so much time to talk through the options and advise. In the end we could not choose our pre music service item so we had the lot!!!!! a mini organ recital just for our guests to get out of the rain. The hymns were lively, energetic and executed with utter dynamism, joy and empathy. Everyone sung ! Gareth switched to piano for our register signing music and showed again that he is an utter genius on piano as well as organ - making the ancient church piano sing and sound like a concert grand. Widor Toccata blew the roof off. This man stands out a mile in this site and it is a mystery why he is not an international concert performer. Make no mistakes Have no doubts Book this man for any event for organ or piano !! He is truly amazing and a wonderful, warm person as well. Thank you G and stay in touch J"

"I have used Gareth as an organist and pianist on multiple occasions to accompany my choir for both services and concerts. He remains my first choice for those special events that you need to know will be just right. Gareth is a consummate professional and a highly trained keyboardist. Despite his high level of technical expertise, he is no bore! His personal charisma, charm and musical cheekiness are what bring his playing to life and make him great fun to work with. Gareth always shows up to the first rehearsal knowing the music inside out and is able to score read choral parts flawlessly, transpose at a moments' notice, and, with one ear always on the singers, he is everything one would expect from a sensitive accompanist. His ability to improvise effortlessly make him invaluable for those all-important choral warm-ups ... and his last verses of hymns always induce a grin! Gareth is a highly flexible musician and is able to play musically in all genres. He works brilliantly with children, amateurs, and professionals, knowing exactly how much/how little support is needed from him. A first-rate musician, brilliant accompanist, and a professional, fun and loyal person. 10 out 10. "

"Sebastian directed a group of four singers and a trumpeter for my daughter's wedding, as well as playing the organ. He could not have delivered a better recital for the occasion, indeed his musical contribution was a real highlight for our 200 guests. He invited a group of first class musicians to join him and every thing was performed to the highest standard. Highlights were the bridal entry to the church to Trumpet Voluntary in D, by John Stanley and the finale procession to Wider's Toccata. The anthems were also wonderful, with a superb female vocalist taking the lead for Goodall's The Lord is my Shepherd and Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus. We cannot thank Sebastian enough for the part he played in a very special family day. He was a pleasure to work with and delivered the most perfect performance."

"Not much to add to the reviews on this site, CARING, CHARACTERFUL, HELPFUL, EXPERIENCED, VIRTUOSO, PHENOMENAL - we recommended you book him for your wedding or wedding blessing in our case and if we had known what an amazing Jazz pianist he is as well in time he would have been at the reception. "Gareth Giles is a SUPERB organist who led our service recently with aplomb and at very short notice ! Gareth your choice of tempi, colorful registrations and amazing harmonies for the last verses (! Bairstow, eat your heart out !) coupled with a superb empathy for the poetic flow of the hymnody truly inspired our congregation to sing confidently and rhythmically. Many members commented on your wonderful extemporisation facility before and during the service and your Rheinberger postlude at the conclusion of the worship was incredible. We have never before heard the organ played with such power, dynamism and virtuosity. You are a truly gifted Church Musician and we look forward to seeing you again at some point. Thank you again from the whole community, here. "

"Loved working with James. He's very professional and experienced. He'll easily handle pretty much anything you ask of him. He's played church services, weddings, funerals, classical and more contemporary concert material. Fabulous accompanist but also very talented conductor, orchestra and choir leader. Deep dark sense of humour! If you've read this far - he's your musician, book him."
