"Mark's repertoire during our wedding breakfast was amazing. We Cannot thank him enough for the musical accompaniment to our special day. He is very warm and friendly, and communication was excellent. Andy and I can't recommend him highly enough - he played our favourite songs on request with gusto and our guests loved every minute! A great addition to our venue at Stratton Court Barn, Oxfordshire."

"While planning a vintage tea party for Mum’s 90th birthday party, I needed an accompanist and piano player for my wartime and 40’s style sing along, which I planned to lead. My search found me the super talented and very accurate perfectionist Mark Burton at lastminutemusicians.com. When I made telephone contact and explained what I was planning, he totally understood and was very helpful making suggestions for songs to be played, arrangements and keys. We then had lots of communication over email, he was prompt to answer any questions and bent over backwards to help. On the day of the performance he greeted me with a smile and did his best to quell my nerves, during his solo spot, he played with distinction lots of old favourite tunes as background music. He played the piano in the venue for around 45 minutes solo then took a break and came back on his own keyboard with myself on vocals for a further hour set as accompaniment to my singing and the family sing along to tunes such as “putting on the Ritz” and a wartime medley from “pack up your troubles” through lots of other wonderful tunes ending on “land of hope and glory”. The result was that my Mother and indeed all of the family were thrilled to bits. They have been raving about it so much. It has given us outstanding and lasting memory of the perfect birthday with perfect entertainment supplied by Mark. Thank you so very much Mark you are an outstanding musician and I will recommend you to anyone in need."

"I saw Mark play in a recent 'Las Vegas' theme ball with singer William May and I found their show fantastic! Mark is clearly an outstanding talented pianist and as a duo, performed to over 100 guests in a marquee with excellent comments and praise from many! Their show was varied, suited all ages and styles and was absolutely great entertainment. I would happily book Mark for a wedding or special event and with William alongside, make the perfect choice for great music and a fabulous performance. Both are smart, friendly and brilliant at what they do. I have rated this as 10 as we saw a top class act! "

"We engaged Mark to play for us during our annual conference dinner in the stunning Victorian Gallery of Leicester's New Walk Museum. It was wonderful to hear the gentle sounds of the piano on our arrival as we made our way to the gallery. Mark then continued to play for us whilst having our early evening drinks and then during the meal itself. He thoughtfully kept the lid in place on the museum's grand piano so he did not drown out our conversation, but instead provided a delightful backdrop to it. Mark offered to play requests for us but we did not take him up on this; instead we trusted him to find the right pieces for the evening. He played a wide range of material, including classical favourites, famous film scores, and the latest hits. He set just the right tone for the evening, with the piano offering a delightful accompaniment to our dinner. In such a beautiful setting, we all thought Mark's playing had really made our evening. We really did appreciate it, thank you so much! "

"I recently stumbled upon the music of Richard Ellis Hawley, a multi-genre musician who blends elements of multiple genres to create a unique and captivating sound. Their eclectic mix of styles keeps me on my toes, never quite knowing what to expect next. One moment I'm grooving to a funky bassline straight out of the 70s, the next I'm lost in a dreamy, ethereal electronic soundscape. Hawley seamlessly transitions between genres, weaving together influences from rock, hip-hop, jazz, classical, and everything in between. What sets Hawley apart is their masterful musicianship and ability to effortlessly switch between genres without missing a beat. Each track is a journey, taking the listener on a sonic adventure that keeps me coming back for more. Whether I'm in the mood for a high-energy dance track or a laid-back ballad, Hawley has something for every mood and occasion. Their music is a true testament to the power of genre-blending and showcases their versatility as a musician. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Hawley's music if you're looking for something fresh, and downright impressive. Their ability to fuse together multiple genres seamlessly is a testament to their talent and I can't wait to see what they come up with next."

"Sam was amazing in every way - he was accomodating with all song requests and played our ceremony and reception drinks beautifully! He was such a professional and entertaining performer. Even before we booked Sam, he accommodated every query I had - I including sending me a bespoke video of songs I wanted him to perform! Thank you so much Sam!"

"Hi - Gareth played for our wedding at very short notice. He met us for coffee to reassure us and discuss all the options. He was amazing from the get go - a consummate musician and a warm, friendly guy with a wicked sense of humour. After meeting him we were so relieved to have found him and sorted the music. He was totally professional and made our wedding ceremony a very special day to remember. All our guests commented on his virtuosity and sensitive playing as well as dragging the reluctant 'congregation' into singing the hymns powerfully and with an excellent pace. We truly recommend Gareth to any prospective wedding couples - what a guy ! Thanks G"

"I engaged Gareth to accompany two choirs and soloists in a fundraising concert in aid of Macmillan cancer. He was SUPERB in every way with experience in bringing out the best in all performers from the professionals to the amateurs. In particular, his musicianship, sensitivity, ability to extemporise sympathetically and enhance any performance. Gareth's musical skills have to be heard and witnessed to be understood for how his playing transforms and securely underpins the Music and the people performing. He also accompanied me in a gorgeous flute and piano piece 'song for my mother ' by Geoff Easles. The Jazz style in this piece highlighted another wonderful aspect of Gareth's abilities - to play jazz in a free and effortless way . On a personal level Gareth is also very professional and approachable and reliable . The adult choir for those with learning disabilities were boosted in their confidence and musicality to sing with him too. It was a joy to watch them and they received a standing ovation! Simply FANTASTIC , EXCELLENT, NO HESITATION to RECOMMEND except that he might not be so available the next time I need him ! Thank you Gareth. Veronica Austin- concert organiser . "
