"Amazing! It was so lovely to work with Kathryn and the group to create a beautiful bit of music for our wedding. They were so helpful and accomodating and went above and beyond to obtain sheet music and learn new pieces for us. Could not have been happier with them and the beautiful music they played for us. Wish I could have them all over again with time to just sit and listen to it all! Very grateful to have had them be part of the day."

"Excellent! From start (initial contact and enquiry), to finish (performance), Modern Strings were a pleasure to work with. Sophie was very helpful and accomodating, she also offered a very competitive package, advising what would work in an honest way. She was always prompt with communications, and helped where she could. The team were punctual on the day, and played amazingly, guests loved it! Thanks to the team!"

"The artists were fantastic, turned up early, and were accommodating with the lack of space in a small church! They sounded amazing, everyone commented afterwards on the quality of their performance. It really made the day special and I'd happily recommend them."

"An amazing day that will be spoke about for years to come. Antony and his wife are a lovely couple. Antony’s voice was absolutely incredible, he got everyone one up dancing. Every single person said how much they enjoyed antony’s entertainment. Nikki, Antony’s wife was lovely and the day ran smoothly. A lovely couple definitely would recommend."

"Stephen was amazing at my husband’s surprise 40th birthday party! He is so professional, talented and has a great sense of humour. We didn’t want him to leave! Our guests commented on how great he was too. He played all our requests and even played and sang songs that he'd never played before the party. I would highly recommend and we will be definitely using him again. Thank you so much Stephen. An absolute top guy."

"We just wanted to say a huge thank you for playing so beautifully on our wedding day last week. It honestly made the ceremony so special and every time I hear your music it makes me feel emotional. It was everything we could have wanted and more. Apologies we didn’t get a proper chance to meet afterwards. "Rose was absolutely amazing - from start to finish her communication was brilliant. Her look was spot on and her vocal range was absolutely perfect for the song range selected. We had a many people congratulate us on our choice. However the crowning glory was Rose actual learnt and re- interpreted our wedding song Northern Sky by Nick Drake in such a beautiful fashion it made us cry. We cannot recommend her enough - book her you will not regret it."

"Liam performed during our wedding ceremony. He was everything we wanted and more. He went of his way to learn a song to walk down the aisle to. Everyone complimented us on our choice of musician. We’d definitely recommend."
