"Black Velvet Irish Trio were absolutely fantastic! They had the entire room up singing and dancing for both sets. They played a great mix of upbeat Irish songs and traditional classics and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance. We received lots of positive feedback from our customers both in person and on social media. We will book them again!"

"Ruby was asked to.perform at my.mumd funeral wake as my mum.had requested a party. She was not only amazing before the event keeping in touch collecting information about mum so she understood her which I felt was just so thoughtful On the day she was incredible her performance was Just sensational and the temp just right You must book this lady I promise you.wont regret it Forever grateful to ruby xxx"

"The Lost were our wedding band this august, and we absolutely loved having them play. They sounded incredible and really connected with our crowd, ensuring that our dancefloor was full all night long. I was particularly pleased with how accommodating they were when forming our set list, including learning a new song with less than 2 days to go. we really wanted it to be a part of the evening and they made it happen. It was great they stayed to provide a disco and made planning the evening very easy. Adam was always prompt to reply, so we had high expectations before the evening and these were exceeded on the day! would definitely recommend. "

"I wanted to thank you and your brilliant band for your fantastic work on Saturday 3rd June 2017. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without them. "It was a pleasure to have Jamie come and play at our work event. He is a very talented musician with a really special voice. He created the perfect atmosphere for the guests and even played requested songs that were not in his repertoire but just vibed with the crowd. We had to change set times last minute and Jamie was completely understanding about this, he’s extremely easy to work with. I would highly recommend Jamie for any event, our guests cannot stop raving about him"

"Black Velvet Band Irish Trio - Cheltenham Gold Cup - March 2025 Absolutely brilliant band - everybody loved them! We booked the band to play at The Three Lions, Stourport-on-Severn on Gold Cup Day 2025 and didn't regret the decision. They came in set up and started playing straight away and immediately the dance floor was full. We were turning people away at the door as the pub was full to the brim! They played to the crowd and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. "

"My wife and I booked The Mighty Craic full band for our joint 40th birthday party. Josh was a pleasure to deal with in terms of the arrangements etc and when the big night came the band absolutely stormed it for us. I'd been keen to find a band that would have a broad appeal as we would have family and friends of all ages celebrating with us. The band treated us to a perfectly judged mix of popular irish songs and contemporary pop hits done The Mighty Craic's style. If you want a tight, professional, really entertaining irish band for your party then you've found them. Guaranteed to get your guests dancing, smiling and singing along. Top craic! "

"I was so excited when I found Absolute band's website and saw their repertoire and videos of them playing, it was exactly the vibe we were looking for. We booked them originally for June 2020, then moved to April 2021, then again moved to July 2021! Geoff was so kind and understanding and flexible throughout, navigating wedding season in a pandemic and making sure that we could have the numbers of guests we wanted there. They played on 3rd July 2021 and the dancefloor was absolutely banging! Because of covid we had to have an outside dancefloor - they were so flexible and played at the edge of the marquee facing out, whilst we all danced on a patio under a gazebo. It was truly magic. Our guests are a huge mix of ages and the dancefloor was rammed the entire time they were playing. We were running late and they were so flexible by doing an extra long set for us before the music had to turn off. They played all our favourite songs, and played a couple of requests that weren't on their repertoire. I cannot recommend them enough, they are really well priced for the standard of their performance, and I would book them again in an instant! "Simply the best evening ever with two amazing and accomplished musicians who made the evening. Kelly and Graham were outstanding in their delivery of my chosen songs and the two hours passed in what seemed like the blink of an eye. Their engagement with the audience of 70 guests from far and wide was spot on and the quality of sound was just brilliant! Would not hesitate to have them here again! Thank you so much for making my night special."

"For the third year The Brixham Pirate Festival will have The Extonions playing on the Main Stage. Pirates are a discerning crew and The Extonions had them a jiggin' and toe tappin' throughout their set. HUZZAH!!!"

Thank younRuss , while it lasted under your management, we though roughly enjoyed every moment as did the crowd. People often ask why we are not playing anymore on the main stage, and we have to say, we don't know.
