"Ruby was an Absolute star! She was so professional and the way she can read the crowd to know what songs to go with next she’s amaze balls! I can honestly say with my hand on my heart she made our day! She has an amazing energy that you feel through her voice! You need to charge way more for her amazing talent! The booking process was really easy and straight forward and I will definitely be recommending yourself and Ruby to friends and family! "Wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that Mark did a fabulous job for my birthday. It was a tough crowd as everyone was so spread out but Mark was a trooper and kept going and eventually we had my friends up and dancing. Music was varied and well received and Mark was very professional, prompt and friendly. There were lots of comments about how great he was as a performer, very impressive. I’d certainly recommend him to others. Thanks very much again for your help."

"We wouldn`t change a single minute of our wedding day. Whilst its difficult to pick out a highlight, you guys did an absolutely sensational job in the evening. Everyone has been raving about how good you were. We were so impressed. You did everything we asked for, and did it perfectly. You were the ultimate professionals. Not only did you fill the dance floor but you filled the whole room right up to the bar for the whole night! We really can`t thank you enough and hope you guys also enjoyed playing at our wedding."

"We booked Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a sixtieth birthday party. Very much a family event, so all ages including children, who particularly enjoyed it, although everyone had a really great time. One of the parents told me that her little one has decided that a ceilidh is the very best kind of birthday party, so the bar was set high for all future birthdays there! A few people knew the dances already, but most didn’t, and our caller guided us through each dance so that everyone could join in the fun! The atmosphere was lovely, and the musicians were impressive, plus really lovely people who were accommodating, helpful and great fun. I would definitely recommend them; they were fantastic, and the whole evening was an absolute joy. The only thing now is to find a good reason to do it all again!"

"Reliable, professional and a joy to listen to. And he is SUCH a lovely guy! He really made our celebration complete, the guests thoroughly enjoyed his performance and we really appreciated him being here. We can’t thank Huw enough for his wonderful contribution to our special day. He worked incredibly hard, way beyond the call of duty, and even found time for some of our guests who were keen to chat to him after his performance. We recommend Huw without hesitation, and would absolutely invite him back if we can find an excuse for another party. Thank you very much Huw."

"What a fabulous night had by all. From the moment we booked the Barnbuskers for our Barn Dance Event at Country Ways they were fantastic. So helpful and well organised. Country Ways had over 100 guests for the Barn Dance and everyone was laughing and smiling. From young to old everyone joined in and had such a lovely evening.
