"The band were a great edition to our wedding party event. They arrived on time and had no issues setting up independently with minimal direction from us as hosts. They gave good directions in terms of getting us started with a first dance, and set the tone for the two sets they played perfectly – giving great instructions to the mostly complete novice crowd present, with a good dose of humour alongside. Everyone there from small children through to retirees was able to participate. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again for a future event, or to recommend them to others."

"Hi Helen You have recently played at our wedding. I just wanted to send a quick message to thank you for your amazing performance. Both my partner and I haven’t quite been able to get over how brilliant you guys were. We have had floods of messages from guests, the venue and our external suppliers (DJ, photographers and photo booth) saying how amazing you were, with the photo booth attendant showing me his goosebumps whilst you played! "Funk With Us are absolutely phenomenal. Obviously I am biased but they are honestly the best wedding band I’ve ever seen perform. All of our guests have since commented that our band were fantastic and I couldn’t recommend more highly! Lilac and Remko are so easy to talk to and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Such a talented bunch!"

"Ruby has been one of our regular entertainers at Elizabeth House since 2017. Residents look forward to her visits and always enjoy a lively afternoon. They enjoy both the singing and the variety of 50’s dresses Ruby wears for every performance. Ruby has a way of interacting with residents and including them as individuals, encouraging all to participate. She brings a smile to their faces. We look forward to many more visits from Ruby."

"Hired these guys for a 50th Birthday Party because we liked the videos. They certainly didn't disappoint! Great humour and sound. Graham is exceptional on the guitar and Kelly's voice gave goosebumps. We will definitely be using them again."

"It was a brilliant night! I had an excellent experience with the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – they were very responsive and flexible on and before the night. The caller was easy to understand, enthusiastic and the band are very talented musicians. I highly recommend them. "

"The Lost were our wedding band this august, and we absolutely loved having them play. They sounded incredible and really connected with our crowd, ensuring that our dancefloor was full all night long. I was particularly pleased with how accommodating they were when forming our set list, including learning a new song with less than 2 days to go. we really wanted it to be a part of the evening and they made it happen. It was great they stayed to provide a disco and made planning the evening very easy. Adam was always prompt to reply, so we had high expectations before the evening and these were exceeded on the day! would definitely recommend. "

"Brilliant band for my sons charity night in Northampton. I booked a 5 piece as I wanted a fiddle player, great musicians, Steve top singer, Luke the engineer was really kind and very helpful with a video link of Zac. "A “big thank you” to the band for a wonderful, memorable day that made our wedding day unforgettable! Everyone enjoyed the music and the dancing. Even the left footed miseries got up to have a go, driven by your music and the attitude of the band. Pete particularly loved “The Greenfields of France” and “The Tweed”. He’s been singing them for days, driving me crazy! We can’t think of any one else that would have made our day so wonderful, (except Rod Stewart in person for Sue!), so thank you once again. It would not have been the same without you all! We look forward to seeing you soon. Meanwhile, keep up the good work!"
