"Funk With Us are absolutely phenomenal. Obviously I am biased but they are honestly the best wedding band I’ve ever seen perform. All of our guests have since commented that our band were fantastic and I couldn’t recommend more highly! Lilac and Remko are so easy to talk to and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Such a talented bunch!"

"We booked Irish Folk/Pop Band for our wedding evening , and oh my goodness these guys are amazing !! Leading up to the wedding communication was great , and they were so accommodating to playlists and to requests. Every one of my guests has said to me how great our band was, 100 % recommend! Have asked the lads to drop us a wee message if they're playing anywhere locally as we want to see them play again."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Christian and Fiona’s 40th Wedding Anniversary Party – May 2026 Wonderful, great musicians, great caller, managed to get dancing going for a mixed age group which included from quite senior to a few young children. The band were very helpful and flexible and helped towards a memorable evening for everyone. Great music, plenty of dancing, great party!"

"Amazing night with joyous music from the band from start to finish. Very accommodating for our age span of 8 years to 80 years! Plenty of caller participation to get us all going in fun dances which everyone said made them ache the next day! I heartily recommend them. Very friendly too! "

"Thank you for the beautiful music you played for my Mother's funeral. It was perfect and totally appropriate. It was so uplifting and although we were all sad it made the day a wonderful celebration of my Mother's life . If she were there she would have been dancing."

"Had a great time with the band at our wedding, there was a great mix throughout and all the guests found something they liked in the music including the Irish parts added. Asked for the 6 piece band as well with male and female vocals which added variation and fiddle players provide that little extra. Thanks Steve, Geoff and the team ! "Paul and Lindsay were the perfect addition to my grandma’s big family reunion / birthday party. Their communication throughout the booking process was flawless and professional. The actual performance was spell-bounding . The tunes they played were so nostalgic and nobodies feet could stay still. All guests were very impressed, and The Publicans were the talk of the party.
