"We booked Funk With Us for our 30th wedding anniversary and the band completely exceeded our expectations. We were hoping to find a band that would play our favourite hits from when we first met and the band made an effort to include those songs in their set. Our guests especially loved how engaging both singers were, with the odd friend taking the mic and the lead! We are very happy for booking Funk With Us and will definitely recommend them to our friends."

"Sorry for the delay in writing, but i would like to say a massive THANK YOU for recommending 'Party Sounds' and arranging for them to play at our Silver Wedding Celebrations. They were everything I had hoped they would be, and more. I was impressed that Mark took the time and trouble to keep in touch with me by telephone rather than by email (which can get a bit messy) and to discuss our likes and dislikes about the music for the evening. They arrived on time at the golf club and we just left the rest to them. It was lovely to be able to put trust in their professionalism and knowledge of their clients preferences to play all evening. We had kept it a closely guarded secret from our guests that we were having a band, and they were really impressed and pleased with what they saw and heard. My one regret is that I was mixing and talking with our guests so much that I didn't really get to fully appreciate the band as I would if I were a guest at someone else's party! I am trying to talk my friends into doing the same, so that I can listen to them again. However, whenever I did draw breath, the sound was exactly like they were playing a CD version of the song - I had to keep checking that it was actually Mark and his colleagues who were really singing - and, oh boy , it most definitely was!! So thank you once again, and please feel free to use my words as recommendation to others. 'Party Sounds' would definitely be my first choice of music for any events in the future. I don't even think I would consider hiring a DJ ever again :)"

"We were delighted with the Black Velvet Bank Ceilidh Trio. The music was excellent and the guidance on how to do the dancing was just right as we had a mixture of people, some with a little experience, others with no experience."

"I want to start by saying we were all impressed by Jamie’s professionalism and accommodating nature when he played our event! His voice was fantastic and he had a wide variety of material. He then followed this with a crowd-pleasing DJ set! Great night had by all"

"Mark was excellent; we left him to decide what to play and when and he judged it perfectly, keeping a low profile to begin with while people mingled and chatted then gradually stepping up the pace. When he was in full swing the everyone was up dancing and singing and it was an absolute riot. Most of our guests came to us and asked how we found him and said how the thoroughly enjoyed the music. Some said best party ever - we were absolutely thrilled and enjoyed ourselves tremendously."

"Dear Helen, David and I don't know how to thank you and your colleagues enough for your absolutely brilliant contribution to our wedding reception. Everyone was raving about how great you were, and I can't count how many times I said, in response to how I found you; "The best ever result of days of google searching" I think that I told you this before, but I listened to so many clips of bands, and it took me about 30 seconds of listening to you to know that you were the right people for the wedding of two musicians, whose guest list was chock full of musicians! I have an absolutely hilarious video of my 7 year old niece going crazy to your music, which I would be happy to send along if you would like. She is officially your biggest fan, and loudly declared that evening "That music makes this the BEST WEDDING EVER!!!" Please could you pass along our admiration and gratitude to the rest of the band? "Wow, what a sound you have! We thoroughly enjoyed having you perform at our wedding last week and all our guests had a great time. So much dancing and fun was had by all, and literally everyone commented on what a wonderful choice we made in inviting you as our guest band. Weddings don't always go to plan and in our case a crucial lead broke on our ipad for the party music, and Kellys Heroes came to the rescue and very kindly donated their lead so we could finish off the party. Such talented lovely people so I very much recommend Kellys Heroes and we are looking forward to seeing you perform at another event in the future!!"

"We booked "It Takes 2" back in January 2022 for Cleeve Prior village Queens Platinum Jubilee 50's evening. From beginning to end, Kelly and Graham were absolutely fantastic. I bombarded them with emails about set lists, how much power they would require etc etc and each and every time Kelly responded immediately with the answers. Being an organiser of the event and never using the band before, it was quite a responsibility in choosing our entertainment, I needn't have worried. They arrived early, were so professional and had everybody on the dancefloor from beginning to end. The 50's theme / set list, which I was worried wouldn't go down well, was absolutely fantastic. I have been congratulated on booking such a good band but it was all Kelly and Graham's doing, we look forward seeing them at future events and many people in the village are planning on using them, I honestly cannot thank them enough....!"

"Awesome band - they played both pop/rock bangers as well as Irish music which was important to us. They knew what songs to play and when to get the crowd going. We had so many people compliment the live music and it really topped the end of a wonderful day - thank you so much.
