"Straight Up were beyond brilliant as the evening entertainment for our wedding. The dance floor was full the entire time and we had so many comments about how brilliant they were - their manager was great at communicating in the run up to the event and they were willing to tweak the set list so it was perfect for our friends and family! Would thoroughly recommend. "

"The Marvellous Motown Souls added that extra funky vibe to our company Christmas party this year. Really easy to work with, I was more than happy to let them select their own playlist for our event. They were so good, I particularly enjoyed it when the guitarist came onto the dance floor playing his guitar solo. That was lots of fun!! I would 100% recommend anyone to use these guys for any event. They are super versatile and really up for it! Its really clear that they love what they do!"

"Just wanted to say a massive thank you again for Saturday! You guys absolutely made our night and as you know we didn't leave the dance floor and neither did a lot of other people! You are brilliant musicians and we've had lots of comments from our guests about how much they loved you! "Thank you so much to henry and the lads who played at our wedding 4/9/15 we had never heard them singing before we went with our instinct from pictures and communication from the band which was all perfect and we were right!! We were blown away by how amazing you all were you all are truly talented so many of our guests were asking who are they? How did you pick them?? They were told who you are and we highly recommend thanks again for making our day so special you are all fantastic! Love Mr and Mrs wharton X My only regret was not having a picture with you all."

"So many people have commented on how much they enjoyed the music... I'm sure that people were dancing because they couldn't resist your fiddle playing. Also it was delightful to be able to talk between dances, yet also listen to and enjoy your harp playing. Your contribution to the success of our day is immeasurable. You are a delightful musician and charming too!"

"This band are the real deal. I have never known a band put so much effort into a party. James was like road runner in speed with replying throughout and everything you need was covered by him, we were left with no worries on the entertainment front. On the day the band came in good time to setup, their equipment is ridicules compared to what I expected, the sound system is so clear and lights are brilliant. I watched the soundcheck while I was also preparing things and when I heard the final result I knew the evening would be amazing. Song choices were just spot on, Liz can sing anything and they actually ended up playing for about two and a half hours as people just wanted to keep partying. I booked them for a couple of hours originally. I will conclude by saying James and his band deserve every penny they get, they will do a proper job and are all around down to earth people and brilliant musicians."
