"What a wonderful band. They absolutely nailed. Wonderful musicianship, amenable and flexible attitude with my ideas; they simply wanted to do their best to make it as good as they could. They deservedly got great applause from my appreciative guests. The caller, Geoff, also - for a reasonable extra charge - will entertain the kids and/or do some conjuring. His balloons were a huge hit; children running around having fun so the adults could enjoy the eve without being nagged by bored children. Also, during the dancing, Geoff came out with the occasional witty comment about me and the 'do' that were right on the money. I just cannot thank them enough not just for making it a wonderful evening, but wanting to make it a wonderful evening. What can I say? Well, as I started this review: What a wonderful band! "

"What an entertainer, all genres. I have no hesitation in recommending Tony. He can change from rock to smooch and anything in between with no hesitation. He certainly fills the dance floor, even for someone like me who rarely takes to dancing. Many thanks Tony for an excellent performance!"

"We booked Joey for our wedding having seen the testimonials online and listened to some of his music. Well, what a find! He was just what we were looking for and his style suited our taste perfectly. He was really responsive on email (which massively helps in wedding preparation madness), arrived promptly to set up and was really flexible and understanding when we had to move him around due to space issues. We had two live sets - one as background music during our afternoon tea and then one to kick start the evening. Both worked perfectly - he is a brilliant singer and musician. He then DJ'd for the rest of the night. What we loved best about Joey (apart from his performances, which were impeccable) was just how lovely and easy-going he was. Our wedding was a casual, small affair and it felt like Joey was one of our guests, which was just fantastic. He chatted to everyone between singing and DJing and everyone loved him! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any event. What a top guy! Joey, we wish you every success for the future, you really deserve it."

"We were recommended to hire Absolute to play at my wife’s 50th party we were not disappointed. Guys turned up on time, were highly professional, but most importantly had the dance floor full for the entire evening. They received so many compliments. We went for the 6 piece line-up. "Danny was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment. From our first dance to the last song, he had the whole room mesmerized with his beautiful voice and incredible piano playing. His music created the perfect atmosphere for our special day, and we couldn't have asked for more. Danny even took the time to learn a special song that we wanted for our first dance, which made the moment even more magical. We are so grateful to Danny for making our wedding unforgettable, and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a talented and professional musician."

"Christopher did an amazing job playing at my sister's 40th Birthday party, held in her garden. It made the day and got everyone in the mood for what was a brilliant party. Christopher is a very talented musician and did everything to ensure our requirements were met, including playing a few extra songs to finish with. Would definitely book again and recommend to all."

"Kip and his Ceilidh band performed at our wedding 30 years ago and proved the perfect choice for getting everyone involved, whatever their age, shape or size! Family and friends talked about the dancing for years after. There was simply nobody else to consider when we returned to Cornwall to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Once again, the dance floor was packed, some with a modicum of timing and coordination. Others with absolutely none. We all had the best time. If you want everyone involved and loads of fun, look no further than the Blue Jewel Ceilidh band. Thanks Kip. "
