Review Centre: Pop Bands

"We booked The Dizzy Brasscals to play at our wedding reception and could not have been more happy with the decision. We found them online and watched/listened to examples of their work before getting in touch. Dave was quick to respond and helpful throughout the whole process. The band were very open to tailoring the music towards our more specific requests when it came to genre whilst also keeping the crowd and dance floor very happy and filled. The lighting and PA was also very professional. Dave stayed after the band finished to DJ in the evening which was also great, requesting our playlists ahead of the evening which he stuck to when suitable. I would highly recommend the band and Dave as a DJ for weddings/events, it really made the reception go so well and lots of guests kept telling us they loved them. Also very reasonable for the service provided. Thanks again Dave and the band!"

Tori & Danni have amazing voices which were absolutely complimented by the talented Sam on bass, Mark on drums and Anni on guitar. "I just wanted to say a massive thank you for Saturday. You were unbelievable and i have had so many complimentary comments from guests that i wish i could record them somehow to send to you! There were lots of ladies (and i expect a few gents!) moved to tears in the church. The afternoon music was also wonderful and set the mood perfectly."

Paul was so professional and extremely helpful throughout and didn't bat an eye at how dippy and forgetful I had become with the stress of planning a Wedding! We chose you firstly because of your fabulous and wide ranging repertoire of classic and awesome songs we love, and as soon as you started playing we knew we had made a perfect choice! Your friendly relaxed energy and ability to interact with the crowd made a great atmosphere, you have a great sound and you were note perfect from start to finish. There was something for everyone, and our family and friends all had a fantastic time (we had so many positive comments about you guys!) Not only was the music spot on but you were so friendly and professional, both on the day itself and leading up to it, the whole process was very easy and stress free. "Absolutely amazing! They nailed the brief. I asked dizzy brasscals to come out after we say I DO, no one had a clue and it was such a great surprise! "We have been very fortunate to have the Bristol Pop Orchestra (BPO) play in the headline spot at our annual outdoor community event we call Party in the Park these last 2 years. While we’ve had many good bands perform during all the time this has been running, the BPO were the first ever to have the audience shouting ‘more, more, more’ when they finished their last number. The BPO are a great band to listen to & to watch & if you want to have the crowd up on their feet singing & dancing the BPO come highly recommended"

"TwelveTone are unique. They are six 14 to 17 year-old kids, high musically competent, playing jazz and soul standards. They are fresh, vibrant, enthusiastic, entertaining and very good at what they do. Any crowd will love them. If you like: Etta James, Stevie Wonder, Dusty Springfield, Bill Withers, Amy Winehouse, George Michael, Al Green, Sade, you'll love them."
