"Mike, we cannot thank you enough for how brilliant you guys were at our wedding! Thank you so much for being so flexible when, given the extreme heat and no air con, our guests decamped to the gardens and you all postponed your sets to play later in the evening when everyone was back inside the venue! We really appreciated that! We had so many compliments on how fantastic you all were and many of my guests have asked for your details! Not surprising since the entire band was lively, entertaining and just brilliantly talented! I would also like to thank you for keeping me so calm and making the booking process/ play list selection etc so easy. You were contactable whenever I needed you (wonderful) and were so in control that it put me at ease instantly. Thank you again and we cannot wait for another excuse to throw a big bash and hire you all again! "

"Everyone said how good the band was and we certainly enjoyed the music too. We opted for a 'package' deal which included a drummer who also DJ'd for us. All in all great music, great service which added to our wonderful night, couldn't have asked for better. They had everyone dancing, embraced some quirkyness and fun and I know our friends have tried to book the band for their wedding, unfortunately the band already had other commitments but i've passed on the bands details to many of our guests."

"They were absolutely fantastic. The dance floor was full all night, and they interacted with guests so well. One of our nephews was invited on stage with them for a guitar solo which he LOVED and was such a nice touch. Can't recommend Straight Up enough. "

"One of our favourite things to do is dance, and so we knew we had to book just the right band for our wedding, that’d have everyone up on the dancefloor all night! And we certainly chose right! "Having just returned from our honeymoon we just wanted to reach out and thank you for everything you did to help make our wedding so special. Amplified really were spectacular and everybody is raving about you guys. The music was brilliant, you got everybody dancing and we can’t thank you enough for helping our big day rock. From preparing a new song for our first dance, getting the father of the groom up to sing, right through to the last dance, you all gave so much energy and we will never forget it. Rhona, from beginning to end you were great to work with, helpful and quick to respond. Thank you for everything you did in the lead-up. "

"31st December 2018 Definitely, our best choice for New Year`s Eve! VIP Formula is a fantastic band. Definitely, our best choice for New Year`s Eve! Very well-organised band. They arrived and did the set-up/sound check as planned. They were kind and polite at all times and the three of them are super talented musicians. We loved their repertoire which is a mix between Cuban Music and Pop Classics in English that they played in Latin style. The countdown was managed brilliantly, and the crowd danced for hours. It was a memorable night. I would absolutely recommend them!"
