Review Centre: Bands & Ensembles

"What an amazing evening we had on Saturday 9th Oct . J.F. Duo were our chosen band for our birthday celebrations at Henley Community Centre. I love their music and was excited before the event, but they even exceeded our expectations. Their first set was an acoustic selection of songs while people arrived and got into the party mood. The second set was a full band sound which had people dancing for the rest of the evening. We had so many comments from our friends saying how much they enjoyed the band. Such a good sound, excellent to dance to but also excellent to listen to. Jackie’s voice is beautiful and Matt is such a talented guitarist and all-round musician. Lovely people to work with, who worked out a set list with us to fit in our favourites. 10 stars out of 10"

"Ruby was an Absolute star! She was so professional and the way she can read the crowd to know what songs to go with next she’s amaze balls! I can honestly say with my hand on my heart she made our day! She has an amazing energy that you feel through her voice! You need to charge way more for her amazing talent! The booking process was really easy and straight forward and I will definitely be recommending yourself and Ruby to friends and family! "The Lonely Hearts were a fantastic band who played a great range of music and got everyone up on the dance floor. The band were friendly and full of energy and everyone was raving about them. I would definitely recommend them!"

"Two blue played at our wedding during the wedding breakfast. They were fantastic! I love jazz music and so I really wanted to find a live act- they were so affordable and were exactly what we were after. They created a really lovely atmosphere and their sound is beautiful- very skilled musicians! They were so easy to communicate with and were very professional. We requested an obscure song and they learnt it for us with short notice and that was really accommodating and kind of them. They would also sound great for a wedding reception and many other events! Highly recommend them. "

"Just wanted to say a belated thank you for the fantastic job the band did for our wedding on 20th July at Enterkine. Everyone thought you were great and really enjoyed the dancing outside and the mix of music - we were all exhausted by the end! "We were absolutely over the moon with your service and performance at the Dulwich College 400 Anniversary Black & Blue ball. You all looked very smart, but Rock’n’Roll, in your black shirts and jeans; your setting up and help with the boys’ big band ( kindly letting them use your drum kit and amp) was seamless and last but not least, your sets were outstanding! The song choices were spot on, as you clearly know what gets everyone going. You may remember, we struggled to get the guests to leave the dance floor when the end of the evening was announced. If we hadn’t had to finish at a certain time, due to residential area and license, we would have had you play until daylight! We received many compliments, on your behalf, from guests’ feedback and will not hesitate in booking you again for any future parties."
