"Our huge thanks go to everyone in Soul West for two great concerts last weekend. All of us at the 2013 Babbacombe Festival Marquee were delighted to have you play at our incredible retro funk night on the Saturday and again at the Hanbury's Music Day on the Sunday. Both events were a wonderful success and the Festival Marquee came alive whenever you played. We not only appreciate the great music but also the ease of communication and planning prior to the event. Your professionalism made our job so much easier."

"We hired Oliver for a party at our house yesterday afternoon. He is brilliant! He was professional and efficient when arranging the gig and he did a fabulous performance. We were mesmerised by his beautiful voice. Would highly recommend. Thank you Oliver."

"Steve played at both mine and my wife's 40th birthday parties, that's how good he is, we had to get him back! Steve is very professional, approachable and an amazing entertainer. His own music is brilliant and he had a vast bank of covers which always gets everyone up on the dance floor, even the swayers & toe tapers that usually don't leave their chairs were up having a dance. We just didn't want the night to end and of course 'one more song' was chanted about 5 times! Thank you Steve. You are literally the best!"

"We have been to 37 weddings in 5 years, and The Wayfarers were the best band out of them all. Our guests raved about their talent, showmanship and repertoire. Great personalities, fantastic to work with and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting an amazing party atmosphere!"

"When planning our wedding we knew we wanted music to play a big part. After searching through numerous websites we stumbled upon Christina and Harry. As soon as we heard their sound and saw their repertoire we knew we had to book them, it was like it was meant to be. Throughout the lead up Christina was always on hand to answer any questions, always putting our minds at ease. No question was too much trouble. They performed for our ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast. Each performance was fantastic and we received many comments from our guests saying how amazing they were. We got to meet them briefly after their final set and can honestly say these are two of the most genuine, lovely people you will meet. Both super professional and super talented. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and wish them both every success for the future. Thank you both for making our day so special. "

"Mark was a fantastic addition to our wedding reception at Westminster College, Cambridge. He is very friendly and helpful and attentive to requests. But most importantly he is a very fine pianist. We were lucky that Westminster College has a Steinway (apparently one of the best he's played) and he truly made it sing. Mark played a very well curated set, mixing classical music and more contemporary songs (The theme to The Godfather received a number of appreciative nods from guests). Beautiful playing, but never intrusive, it was the perfect accompaniment to our wedding breakfast. He even received his own round of applause from the guests when he finished! We cannot recommend him highly enough."

"James is an incredibly talented musician, a one man band, with the impact of a group. His repertoire is extensive, lots of choice meant we could cater to a broad demographic of party guests. We had lots and lots of compliments at the birthday party we threw for my Dad, people were blown away with his talent and unique approach to music. We would 100% book again, James is trustworthy, polite and a pleasure to have around. We would highly recommend James to anyone looking to book, he won't disappoint. "Melody avenue were absolutely amazing as our wedding band. Micki sent us her repertoire and let us pick the songs we wanted the band to play, we picked a pretty high-energy set and the band absolutely smashed it! The dance floor was full for the whole evening and all our family and friends had the best time. Micki's voice is amazing and all our friends commented saying they had the best time dancing. Thank you so much, Melody Avenue - we would definitely recommend you!! "

"On the night Pete Billigton set the right atmosphere with his piano, leading up to a superb gig with Fleur Stevenson singing, accompanied by Pete and Raph Mizraki on the double bass. Fleur's voice is remarkable and the choice of pieces was most fitting. I was complimented by many friends about the music - some jazz players themselves."
