"I contacted Colin at the last minute to ask if he would surprise my husband Jim, who hosts a Burns supper for all his friends at home each year. They were all thrilled with Colin's musicianship and appearance in full highland gear, and it made it an occasion to remember. He's a really nice man and was only too happy to do what was required. "

"First of all we would like to say how impressed and moved we all were by Andrew and Philip's performance yesterday. Andrews voice is truly amazing and my Mum would have loved it. During the wake everyone was saying how wonderful it was and that no one really knew if it was correct or appropriate to clap. Please tell him that everyone wishes they had and wanted to! "Big final thanks to you all for an excellent performance on Saturday evening. All the comments were positive, and the repertoire was wide enough (this is what caught our attention when we first noticed you) so that everyone had their own favourites on the evening. We thought the atmosphere and tone you set for the first half of our evening was fantastic, with guests being able to chat one minute then concentrate on the performance the next. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay tuned in for the whole performance - it seems you're a little more popular than normal on your wedding day as we discovered! Really glad we chose you and thanks for staying so professional in the immense heat as well. Best wishes and good luck with your music and performances in the future,"

"Our guests haven’t stopped talking about the band! They were amazing and everyone was dancing from start to finish. All of the songs they played were perfect and we can’t recommend them enough. All of the guys were so lovely and we will definitely be booking them for any future events!"

"I booked Luch for an outdoor event last year and our expectations were exceeded! Not only is his voice insane, but he interacts with the crowd and helps to create a good atmosphere. We will definitely book him again."

"We booked Des last minute for New Year after being let down last minute and he literally made our night! He played a mixture of music we’d asked for, including some 20’s hits we’d asked for (themed party). Everyone was up dancing all night and we will definitely be booking Des again! "

"We booked Madhu for my sisters festival themed hen celebration. From the point of first contact Madhu was professional, friendly and super helpful. She liaised with our DJ beforehand and the whole set up and integration into the party when she arrived was seamless. She is an incredible performer, and we loved the way she played into and with the crowd everyone was singing a long ! Our only regret is that we didn’t book Madhu quick enough so we were only able to book her for an hour as she had another event to go to. "

"Dan, was absolutely brilliant for my 21st! From when I booked him the communication was amazing, allowed me to choose songs off his playlist to songs I could request. On the day Dan got everybody up dancing and got the night started. I wouldn’t recommend anybody else. Everybody commented on how amazing Dan was and he is still spoken about nearly 2 weeks later. Thank you Dan for making my 21st amazing! "

"I recently booked House of Chords to play a gig at my wedding reception party at relatively short notice. The party was held on a Thames river boat cruise in London. I liaised directly with Mike from the outset, and was pleasantly greeted by an exceptionally professional service. Attentive to every detail, Mike addressed all of my concerns promptly ensuring total peace of mind. On the evening of the gig, House of Chords were ready and eager to please when all our guests arrived and delivered the goods musically. They are exceptionally talented musicians with a great, friendly demeanour. The evening was enjoyed immensely by everyone and I would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending House of Chords to anyone to play any gig large or small with minimum of fuss and maximum impact!"

"Wow, what can I say! JG was booked to sing at our drinks reception as a surprise by my family after we’d found him online and were amazed by his voice! JG is incredibly talented and such a lovely guy! He learned a couple of songs just for us and it was amazing! Highly recommend!"

"We first met Chris at a wedding event and were immediately impressed with his acoustic performance and professionalism, and particularly his version of Hallelujah. He sang live at our wedding entrance which felt so special and personal to us, and then carried on through our reception drinks, which transfixed our 2 year old! Thank you Chris for adding something so beautiful to our special day"
