"I first saw Double or Nothing perform 3 years ago when they had first come to London. They were phenomenal then, and they have only grown since, both as individuals and as a duo. Their natural synergy is something close to perfect, add that to their vast repertoire and you are certainly in for a delightful experience. They are enjoyable to watch, their friendship shining through their performances, and any audience feels immediately comforted by their confidence and exhilarating energy. I would highly recommend Double or Nothing for any event where good music and good energy are on the agenda."

"Gemma & Phil were recommended to me by a friend who had heard them perform live, after hearing their videos and chatting to Gemma I was quickly convinced they would be perfect for my wedding day! They didn’t just provide us with music but with a whole atmosphere, Gemma was so interactive with my guests she became a part of the celebrations, she was able to perform all requests with no prior notice and kept all guests happy! Gemma and her voice is even better than I could have imagined live! She had us all on our feet singing along and making this memory one I will never forget. I cannot thank them enough for filling my day with love, laughter and those amazing lungs! From a very happy customer - thank you Gemma & Phil!"

"I absolutely loved this pair. I recently planned a wedding in Duns, Scotland and Sally & Graham drove over an hour to play about 3 hours at my event. Everything went completely perfectly, from our communication beforehand, the song list, them adding songs I requested, the location and sound quality for their sets, and setup/tear down. I wanted a relaxed, acoustic sound with talented musicians definitely not a DJ party wedding band, so this duo was perfect for that. This website and this band are excellent value for the range and, again, quality of the music, 100% worth the price and more. Before the event, I gave them some some requests including Africa by Toto, which they REWROTE and learned in their own style (HUGE HIT and really surprised my husband). Also we coordinated a place for them to setup, the times of the sets, and what meals they wanted to have, and everything went off without a hitch. They were also so very sweet and wonderful people that they really impressed all my guests who were complimentary and wondering where I found such an amazing band. One of the best things about the Scotswood Acoustic Duo is how their song list covers a huge variety of music that they somehow play all equally wonderfully. So everyone's music tastes were satisfied and it made for very interesting listening, this was one of the compliments I heard alot. There are just so many nice things to say, please book this band and get them doing music full time because they are AMAZING!"

"So many things to say about this band completely took our entire wedding by surprise with the quality of music they produce, by the neatness of every member and the fact they were on par with everything we had asked for. "Thank you to both of you for your involvement in a wonderful evening at the Savoy. We were aiming for a fun yet sophisticated event during which the girls and parents could be together for one last time before the exams and then leaving Wycombe Abbey and you fulfilled the brief completely. Your set during dinner was pitch perfect, beginning with gentle, mellifluous music to provide a sympathetic background to the general chit-chat over dinner. An hour later, the guests had forgotten their chatter and were totally absorbed in the consummate performance of lively and accomplished numbers."
