Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"My partner and I spent a long long time looking into bands for our wedding, it was one of the most important things for us. We were looking for both a great track list but also a great feeling from band themselves. We ended up booking Henry and Shaun for an Acoustic Duo during the wedding breakfast and the 4 piece band for the evening. If you are thinking of booking SWB for any part of your wedding or any function... Do not hesitate! They were amazing start to finish, did an amazing job of getting people up dancing and really knew what they were doing. We had multiple people coming up to us in the evening and the following days commenting how great the band were and some of our friends even approaching asking to book them for their own functions. It truly was an amazing experience and we couldn't recommend the guys enough!"

"Dinner Jazz Duo (plus singer) played during the drinks reception at my wedding at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Sheffield. I'd recommend them to anyone as the music was fabulous and they were very easy to work with in the run up to our wedding."

"Hi Will, I have been meaning to do this for ages, but honeymoon, moving house and Christmas have all been crazy. Jen and I just wanted to say thank you so much for your performance at our wedding a couple of months ago. You guys were absolutely fantastic, and one of only two things that every single person I have spoken to since the wedding has commented favourably upon (the other being the bride!). Neither of us are dancers, so we were always going to do a lot more sitting than dancing, but I know our friends and family (including even my parents!) had an awesome time on the dancefloor. "The Cheers were awesome. As well as the full band in the evening, they accommodated our request for live music outside during the drinks reception in the afternoon. Vikki's piano and vocals provided the perfect backdrop for the moment. All the guys are lovely people and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time time. Most importantly in the evening, they created an incredible atmosphere with every single pair of feet on the dance floor. It went off! They absolutely rocked it, can't recommend them highly enough. (Ps it's well worth the extra to get the sax player)"

"Prophets of Swing were absolutely wonderful. They delivered exactly what we were hoping for and provided a lively and upbeat atmosphere at our wedding breakfast. Such talented, accomplished musicians. My husband and I were extremely impressed and absolutely delighted with them. All of our guests were singing their praises. I found Sarah-Jane Morris, and her assistants, very helpful, attentive and thorough with the booking process. "We had the absolute pleasure of having Over The Threshold play at our wedding. Hands down the best wedding band we’ve ever experienced, so many of our guests were genuinely surprised at how good they were. Added so much to our wedding. Incredibly talented musicians, fantastic array of songs, really nice guys and had an effortless charm and connection with our guests to ensure everyone was up dancing and enjoying the night without feeling forced up there. They also allowed me to play a song for my wife with them at our wedding which we both will never forget. Wouldn’t think twice about having these perform at any event. "

"We recently hosted a Wild West themed party. Sounds With Us helped us find just the right band, with a caller to add to the fun of the theme with line dancing and barn dancing, as well as sourcing a rodeo bull to complete the theme and the entertainment. From start to end it was a very easy process and it was wonderful to have Sounds With Us to call up when we had concerns even on the evening of the event itself. I would definitely use them again for future parties."
