"I asked Back2Skool Duo to come & play at my 50th Birthday party. They were amazing, I wasn't really sure what to expect, but this band delivered. Plenty of old Skool classics got people on the dance floor. Lots of communication prior to the party to ask my requirements, but to be honest I was happy to let the band do their thing, and they really did their thing! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a band that really knows how to work the room and get people moving. Thanks for adding that extra special touch to my party."

It was a great day for the store and the duo played for twelve hours over two days, receiving many compliments from our customers. "Incredible band! We had the 8-piece play at our wedding recently and they absolutely made our day. The dance floor was completely packed from first dance to last and we've lost count of how many of our guests have raved to us about them since. They were all both super talented musicians and brilliant performers - the horn section wandering into the dance floor went down a storm each time they did it. Every song they played was a banger and there was something in their set for everyone. Mark is a lovely guy and was super responsive and professional throughout, constantly going above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. On the day, everything from their side went exactly as planned and they took our delayed timings completely in their stride. We cannot recommend them highly enough!"

You and Owen exceeded my expectations; such a full acoustic sound and you both were so friendly, flexible and responded to exactly what was needed. From atmospheric/setting the scene chill out music to whooping it up when the guests wanted to dance. Perfect. Great banter. Love you guys! I shall have to have another party."

"Kevin, Booke and the band were engaging, energetic and excellently executed every song performed. As a couple, our music taste is relatively contemporary and we felt through Funk Royale, we could have crowd pleasers to involve our family and friends, performed in wonderfully unique ways! They really delivered! We had so many positive comments about how unique the band was! To top it off, they created a musical medley for our first dance! Outstanding. "

"What an amazing evening! The Fireflies not only sounded incredible but transformed our wedding reception into a party for all ages. Ian was so great in the lead-up to the wedding - ensuring that the band's set and the DJ set were packed full of our favourite dance floor filling songs. On the night they brought so much fun and energy to the evening, even allowing some of the guests to do some impromptu karaoke! Guests are still talking about the band weeks after the wedding and I can't recommend them enough for any sort of event."
