"Stuart was easy to deal with from the word go. He’s polite, professional and had an amazing repertoire. He plays the guitar beautifully and had already co-ordinated everything with the venue before arriving. Stuart was a hit with all our guests, definitely would highly recommend for weddings."

"It was an absolute joy to work with you. You were professional, on time, and flexible with the changing needs of the event. Communication was great pre, during and post event. I really appreciate that you tailored your set to suit our audience, I felt that you really listened and understood exactly what I was trying to achieve and I was impressed with your ability to offer a range of music starting with the traditional background jazz and finishing with a modern twist! "Louise was lovely and easy to communicate with around arrangements. Very reasonably priced and played beautifully - a perfect repertoire of songs to meet our requests. Would definitely recommend - perfect for our corporate /charity event . The whole process was simple and completely stress free. Was wonderfully to find such a lovely local pianist."

"Bluenotes Jazz Duo made their debut at Upton Jazz Festival in June 2025, opening our Sunday jazz session with coffee time jazz in our new venue at the Tudor House Museum. Elliot and David were on on fine form and earned much appreciative comment from our jazz folk and from locals new to jazz. The duo have been invited back for June 2026…enough said ! "Big Skies played at our annual golf trip to Ullesthorpe. Everyone present were very impressed with their performance. They began with more laid back , country songs whilst the guests were finishing off food etc. Fantastic musicianship, talented guitar playing and exceptional harmonies. I had chosen one or two songs which were a little less known by most people present , namely “Battle of Evermore”, and Dylan’s “Oh Sister”, and their renditions were captivating. Later in the evening the tempo was raised and it was great to see so many on the dance floor. Overall, a fantastic evening had by all thanks to Big Skies! I would strongly recommend them if you were thinking of hiring an acoustic band for a special event. "

"We celebrated out 10th wedding anniversary on 30th August & Ann-Marie was our main event at our evening garden party. Although it rained the entire night Ann-Marie performed throughout he night under the gazebos!! We communicated well before the day & she asked me to give a full list of tunes we wanted & there were songs she hadn't played which she learnt for the day which was amazing!! We had all genres of music including RnB, reggae, asian & dance. We kept having entertainment a secret from our guests, even our immediate family so they were all surprised & really impressed. The only minor issue we had was there was difficulty with her ipad connection to her speaker but between my husband & her they rectified it which meant she started later than planned but she played on the extra 30mins to compensate for the later start. Overall Ann-Marie made our evening & our guests forget about the rain & we all loved the atmosphere she created. My husband & I would highly recommend her for your events & I will be contacting her in the future for sure!! Thank you Ann-Marie."
