"We chose the band after going along to one of their gigs and really enjoying the music. As it was our party I didn’t give too much thought as to how well it would suit our guests as quite a few may have expected to hear something more modern. It was therefore really good to hear the enthusiastic calls for an encore and all the really positive feedback we received afterwards. Thanks to all the band for a brilliant performance."

"This great group played for us at our Community 50/60's Dance and they soon had everyone up dancing, some even started when the group were doing their "warm up"! It was a fantastic night and we got lots of good feedback. We would certainly recommend the Backbeats and hope we can have them back again sometime in the future. "

"I booked the lads from Below the Border for my wife's 60th birthday party and they were exactly as described. Brilliant musicians one and all and they kept everyone dancing until well after midnight with popular rock hits from the 70s and that swingy blues that you just HAVE to get up and dance to (no matter how old you are!) Lovely chaps too. Polite, eductated, down to earth, and they have that dry sense of humour musicians often have. I thoroughly recommend them. And we were AMAZED at how cheap they were for such a brilliant band. I don’t think they’re playing for the money! Just incredible guitar playing. Boys, long may you keep on truckin' as we used to say. Thanks thanks and thanks again. John and Doreen "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our night and the icing on the cake were the band. There was not a single song where guests weren't dancing. Just when you wanted to sit down and catch your breath another classic started up and you felt you couldnt miss out! The band set up without any fuss - we hadn't even noticed they had arrived - pretty seamless! We had so many friends say to us how fantastic W4S were. "Roger and the band were brilliant throughout, and really added something to our reception. We really appreciated Roger taking the time to speak to us at some length about best options for the composition of the band for our wedding and what would work best. Professional in the run up, and very well received by our guests, the guys were exceptional. Would not hesitate to book again."
