"What a great way to celebrate St Patrick’s day at our Cons club! The performance went amazingly well! The dance floor was full on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON! I put that down to the guys who played songs and tunes with such an exciting beat that you just couldn’t stay still. The whole afternoon was huge fun. I highly recommend the band."

"Very accomplished. They gave us all a wonderful performance with an extensive range of music from classical to pop. Both my wife and I together with all our guests were delighted and extremely impressed. If you are looking for a musical accompaniment at your event I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They made the evening a more than special occasion."

"Jim was brilliant- he performed specific songs not from his set list that was special to my event. He was flexible with set up and my family friends were extremely complimentary! ""Thank you so much for coming to play for us at our Officers’ Mess Ceilidh. We really enjoyed the dancing, the music and the free-style playing in between dances. It was the perfect atmosphere setter for the relaxed ‘drinks party’ moments and a fantastic switch to ‘high-energy’ dancing when needed. Every guest had good things to say and all thoroughly enjoyed the music. Having heard many Ceilidh bands over the years, yours stood out for as having a relaxed ‘joyfulness’ about it. Your band’s professionalism and ease with the guests made my job as an event organiser really easy. I cannot recommend using your band enough - especially being willing to drive all the way from London! Thank you again for a great evening! "We knew we wanted a band for our wedding, and found the Hot Hats by chance via a google search - after watching their YouTube previews we were suitably impressed and got in touch with Alfie who was incredibly helpful. In the run up to the wedding he asked us to provide a list of our favourite tracks and bands for the DJ playlist in between live sets, including our choice of first dance. On the day they arrived in plenty of time, set up without fuss and got the evening well under way, worked with us to ensure the timing of our first dance was when we wanted and interacted well with the guests to ensure the dance floor was full all night. They remembered small details like Queen being my favourite band and included a track in their set which was a nice touch. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."

"Motown Memories and Ione performed at our wedding in June 2022 and they were absolutely fantastic. Ione is a great singer and the band are superb musicians - there were great guitar solos. At the end of the evening and following the wedding, so many of our guests told us that they thought they were a great wedding band, and the dancefloor was full for the whole evening. They responded and reacted to the crowd expertly. The set list was a great selection of genres and decades, enjoyed by 3 generations. Rhona, the band manager, was great to deal with before the wedding - she asked us questions, she shared an example set list, and she arranged for the first dance to be played."

You were so good at gauging when to play what, and getting people back on the dance floor over and over again! A lot of the guests had never danced a ceilidh (as it was obvious! ?) and you managed to keep everybody on track, well done! "
