"What a lovely bunch of chaps. We were worried when we were told that frontman Jeremy had been taken ill a few days before our wedding day. But thankfully Sam stepped in to save the day. All band members arrived on time, were super friendly and chatty, and put on a terrific show despite the frankly insane 30 degree heat of our wedding day. Sam even took the time to quickly learn a very special, unusual request that we'd asked the band to play, and he totally pulled it out of the bag. Thank you so much for trekking all the way to Surrey to play for us. "

" A BIG thankyou to H&R acoustics for your fantastic performance at our wedding last month. You have a unique style and were a real hit with everyone - friendly, professional, punctual and above all played absolutely great music with beautiful singing (in both Spanish and English to match our mix of guests)! The addition of the conga player to the group worked really well and we appreciated your learning and including ‘The King of the Swingers’ from Jungle Book in your repertoire for us on the night."

"Professional, fun and excellent musicians, this band is superb in every way. They played a selection of high-energy, swinging tunes which got everyone up and dancing. Betty was adept at sensing what got people moving and tailored the music accordingly, making for a fun night for everyone. I might have to plan another party just so I can hire them again. "

"We booked the 106 Miles to Chicago duo plus DJ act for my husband’s 50th birthday party 17th November 2018. We were totally delighted with everything from start to finish. Communication throughout the booking process was great – emails were responded to really quickly and everything was set out clearly. They responded quickly to any questions we had. On the day the guys arrived in plenty of time to set up and were really friendly and professional. They got the party started quickly and were so energetic throughout the evening – we had so many comments from guests about how great the entertainment was. It really made the evening for us. We can’t recommend 106 Miles to Chicago enough – a real crowd pleaser! Thanks for all your efforts on Saturday night! Best wishes Miranda and Stephen "

"I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say how fantastic the band were at our wedding at Christmas. They 'read the room' perfectly, and delivered an excellent performance that created a great atmosphere and got the room dancing! Their unique style of delivering well known songs with a gypsy / folk twist was really well received as they didn't try to replicate the song exactly- making them less of a cover band which was just what we wanted. They were also super easy to work with and really relaxed on the day. The fact they also learnt a new song for our first dance was really special! I would not hesitate to recommend them! "
