"We had Florian & Ezio play at my parents’ anniversary, and they were brilliant. Their acoustic arrangements of pop songs were perfect for the occasion, and our guests really enjoyed it. A great choice for any event!"

They were extremely organised and personable both in advance of and on the day, and most importantly brought the party to our wedding! Everyone was asking where we found Straight Up. "After viewing lots of different bands on Youtube, we went to see Soul Funk Classic in a bar in Accrington. The music was excellent and although the stage wasn't big enough to have all 8 members, it was enough to persuade us to book them for our daughter's wedding. We live in West Yorkshire and agreed a very reasonable price including travel for the full 8 piece band. The music was excellent and appealed to a wide range of ages, playing classics that everyone knew, such as music from films The Blues Brothers, The Commitments and artists such as Aretha Franklin. They played 2 longs sets and had all the guests dancing: they were even asked for encores. The band were very friendly and integrated themselves into the event to help create a memorable occasion. Without hesitation I would definitely recommend them for your event!"

"Rosie and Martin performed at our opening night in the gallery i co-run in Trowbridge, Wilts, they were everything we hoped for!, they really helped make the event feel special for us and our guests and didn't even complain when i asked then to move to different rooms 3 times during the evening! "Absolutely incredible band! We booked Straight Up for our Wedding. They were really friendly. Very professional. They sounded unbelievably good! All our guested mentioned how good they sounded and the energy they brought. The lead singer has an amazing voice. The lead guitarist puts chills up your spine. They made the night. Cannot overstate how happy we were. Highly recommend! "

"Fabulous night with Capricorn. From the outset, he gauged the flavour and vibe of the venue and the audience. He has a brilliant voice, and his guitar work is really substantial; he's not just a three-chord wonder. Everything he did was technically on point and gave a real feel of the original. He arrived in good time, was friendly, relaxed, and polite, and started promptly. He didn't stint on time set-wise either, we felt very much that he gave a good, long 1st and 2nd half performance. He played a long list of favourite, but not cheesy, tracks, and got the audience singing and on their feet dancing from the start. He was friendly and kept the audience engaged, but didn't fill out the set with a lot of pointless chatter, it was just good solid music, performed really well. We really couldn't fault him and will definitely be having him back. 100% recommended."
