"Louise played wonderfully for us at my wife's sixtieth birthday party, she learned Debussy for us, and Joe Hishaishi's beautiful music written for studio Ghibli movies. This was interspersed with other classics by Burt Bacharach, Simon and Garfunkel and many others. Everybody absolutely loved her work, especially my wife, as it made her birthday family gathering really special. Being the first time we had all got together in several years Louise's beautiful piano playing provided an emotional heart to the event. I'm so glad she could attend. Thank you Louise."

"Phil's performance was excellent, his vocals and guitar playing were first class, he has a lovely personality and made the occasion a memorable experience. He was totally self sufficient, with good quality equipment, and was more than happy to fit in with our needs. I would definitely recommend him, and wouldn't hesitate to use him again in the future."

"The music was perfect!! Very talented musician. All requests played and these were last minute and the encouragement to get all on the dance floor by Phil for Summer of 69 was truly memory making and soo much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble for Phil and we would certainly and are recommending him to others. From booking to the night smooth no hiccups completely surpassed our expectations. Many thanks Phil."

"Communications with Gordon was excellent, even though he has a very busy schedule, he always had a quick response. Extremely good value for money. I hired Gordon to play at my proposal to my girlfriend, now fiance, and he was truly amazing! I would highly recommend if you are looking for that special touch I would defiantly get in contact with him. "

"I booked Live looping act for my partners birthday and I have to say he was absolutely amazing, everyone loved him. We will definitely be booking again. "I would like to say that I feel privileged to have had Sarah-Jane and her band performing at our retirement party. Everything about the Jazz band was wonderful, they all looked very smart and professional and their performance was absolutely fantastic. Many asked where I had found them and others just thought I knew Sarah-Jane personally as she was so friendly! I cannot thank them enough for making our event such a wonderful success, we will have lovely memories of the afternoon which seemed to end too soon - I just wanted them to play on and on! Thank you all so very, very much."

"Thank you all so much for a fantastic ceilidh on Saturday night at our wedding. It was brilliant and so much fun. Everyone loved it. Thank you too for letting us play our music on your speakers in the break and after. The lady who was the caller was great, really clear with her instructions and commanded everyone so well, thank you v much. It was an amazing wedding day - literally the best day of our lives. So thank you for contributing and making it so special. We loved the ceilidh and your music, just wonderful Will highly recommend you to anyone who wants a ceilidh! "

"I recently celebrated my 50th birthday weekend with a group of family and friends and I wanted live music for the first night, as a way of gathering everyone together. I had heard good reviews of Phil Short Acoustic, and through personal recommendation from a trusted friend, so I went ahead and booked him. I absolutely could not have made a better choice! Phil was more than accommodating with the song choices I had, and had some fantastic suggestions of his own. He was so friendly and professional throughout my booking. On the evening of the event he had set everything up for the performance without any intrusion on either myself or guests. His performance was amazing! He played a fantastic selection, with some brilliant surprises, and encouraged people to sing along and even took requests. He absolutely brought everyone together and started the weekend celebrations on fantastic high. I cannot recommend Phil highly enough – book him, you will not be disappointed!"

"Claire is an outstanding musician who made our daughters wedding special. Communication was easy and Claire listened to what was required even changing the song choice to allow our granddaughter to sing alongside her. A wonderful day thank you Claire.
