Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"Had the honour of seeing these guys recently at a wedding I was attending, they were awesome. The lead singer was a gentleman and nothing but a pro, quick witted and crowd engaging. As for the rest of the band the lead guitar, bass and drums were again an exceptional level. The range of music they played pretty much broke the mould covering all genres from pop to RnB all the way over to rock and soul. nearly covering every decades best tunes. Had a chat to singer and again I must say a very personable guy always wearing a smile and full of good energy. I'd have absolutely no problem highly recommending these guys to anyone thinking of booking them for any type of event, they filled the dancefloor with every song, had people singing their hearts out and made the evening extra special for all."

"A few weren't sure what a ceilidh was & therefore they weren't sure what to expect. They do now!! Everyone let their hair down & had a real fun time. This was a charity event & if the occasion arises, we most definitely book BLUE JEWEL again!! Thank you."

"Shakers Gold were amazing at our Xmas function. They provided an acoustic set during the meal which was unbelievable. They really set the scene. Then after the meal provide great tunes which everyone was up dancing to. Can't recommend them enough. We will definitely use them again in the future"

"I first saw LickSquid at a friends 30th and instantly knew I needed them at our wedding.....a month later. I contacted LickSquid on Facebook and Dan quickly replied. After giving Dan the date of the wedding they went away and looked at their schedules. Dan got back to me that day and said they could move some things about and would be happy to do it. As I already had a DJ I asked Licksquid if they would do one 45 minute set and an encore. Licksquid duly agreed and even asked me what song list I wanted. As I had seen Licksquid a week or so before I completely trusted them and told them to play what they wished. On the night Licksquid set up without me even knowing. The guys were so lovely and professional. They started their set and the music was amazing. The dance floor was packed and everyone loved them. I can honestly say the wedding would not have been the same without them. They brought a brilliant atmosphere and the whole process of booking, and communication with Licksquid was completely stress free. I would definitely book these guys again for future events. "We hired the Marvellous Souls for our wedding evening. One of our biggest concerns when wedding planning was that no one would be dancing on the dance floor. We couldn’t have been more wrong. The dance floor was full all night thanks to the amazing talent and engagement from the band. Each member is incredible at what they do and they are such genuine lovely people. We went with the 6 piece band and it was a perfect dynamic, the band played so well together. We also hired the DJ who created a great atmosphere before the band and kept everyone dancing after the band finished. The wedding venue even said it’s the best band they have ever had at the venue! The communication prior to the wedding was first class and we were immediately put at ease and felt well taken care of. They were very organised, professional and everything went very smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Would 100% recommend booking The Marvellous souls if you are looking for talented musicians, a good time and professionalism! Thank you for making our wedding day so memorable and fun! "
