"Recently hired Lilac and Barn with Us for our country themed wedding - they were amazing. Lilac’s attention to detail in compiling the set list and incorporating some of our chosen songs was great and she communicated with us throughout the whole process. On the night they set themselves up without disturbing us and the set, lights and sound were good quality. They were very helpful in playing our own playlists in between. Lilac’s voice is fantastic and many guests commented on how good she was. The line dancing was great fun and had all our guests up and joining in. They helped make our wedding a day to remember "

"We were worried about choosing a band because we had to just trust reviews and sample videos and it made us so nervous. But - WOW. You didn't just nail the music, you played with so much enthusiasm and you were communicative right the way through the process. The dance floor was full from start to finish and we received so many compliments from our guests who said you were absolutely incredible - which of course we agreed with. We had planned a lot more for our first dance but had to scale it right back to a prom sway when I spent the afternoon tripping over my dress, but one of the highlights of the whole day was when you picked us out for Mr Brightside. By then I was in a pair of John's Auntie's flip flops and we'd had enough fizz that we just let rip and had the most brilliant dance. That, and you keeping everyone on the floor for 'Sit Down', one of my favourite songs, and seeing the entire room crying and laughing at the same time trying to hold a squat. You and the band absolutely made the evening 'do. "

"Just wanted to let you know that the band were all amazing on the night - we had such a great time and all our guests commented on how impressive the band were - the dance floor was busy all evening. Please would you pass on my thanks as I didn't get a chance to thank them all individually before they left and I really want them to know that they made it all perfect, especially giving up the keyboard for the first song as well! Thanks for all your help in organising everything, it was exactly what we wanted. "

Louise has been an excellent communicator, providing all relevant documents, curating a setlist to best suit our event & setting up quickly on arrival. "We were so impressed with Soul Messengers, from the initial pre-meet we had and discussions over their repertoire to the absolutely fantastic performance they put on on the night, it was honestly everything we were looking for in a band to entertain guests at our wedding. They even lent us their microphone for our speeches which was so sweet. Soul Messengers know how to work a crowd, put a lot of thought into their set list and were super flexible when people had requests etc. We couldn't recommend them enough!"

"We wanted to get in touch to officially thank you for helping to make our big day even more special. Alice and I spent many evenings sitting at home ploughing through online video clips of bands and were so pleased we found Stargazers. The band lived up to our expectations and made our day even more special. Thank you to both you and Andy for playing the acoustic set while the photos were being taken. While we didn’t get to hear much of this, our guests were extremely complimentary and your music was enjoyed by everyone. Thank you for bearing with us in the evening. Alice and I had an absolutely brilliant evening and really enjoyed dancing the night away. Stargazers was everything we wanted and much, much more! You were so kind with the bridesmaids and my nephew who joined in the Bandeoke. They felt so special and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our guests loved every minute of it! You played a fantastic mix of songs which got everyone up and dancing for the whole evening. We have never danced so much but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! "

"We booked the Hillbillies for a western themed garden party and they were an instant hit. I’ve not had a band get our guests up dancing so quickly and continuously all night until the final curtain. The band were very professional throughout the booking process along with being courteous and great entertainment on the night. Thanks for a great night guys and hope to book you again in the future. "We booked Shakers Gold for our wedding celebrations after watching their promo video & we are so pleased we did, they exceeded all expectations. They really started the party, getting young and old up dancing within minutes of playing. They performed our first dance song wonderfully. Many guests have passed comment on how great the band were throughout the evening & the dance floor was never empty.The band were discreet in setting up/down & were really responsive to all communication beforehand. We all had a fantastic time and can’t thank Shakers Gold enough! Now looking for an excuse to have you play again!! Thanks again, and we’ll be sure to follow you and come and see you play in the future"

"Stephen and Milka played our wedding day on Saturday 23rd September and it was beautiful. They learned a different song for the processional, register signing, and recessional to make our ceremony music unique to us, and the setlist they played for the rest of the day was lovely. We had very positive comments from family and friends, some of whom shed a tear as soon as the music started. We'd like to say thank you again to Steve and Milka for helping to make our special day the best it could be."
