"Over the moon! Everyone loved Carousel – they were awesome! They set up nice and early before the evening reception, introduced themselves and were really professional and friendly. They played a lot of our requested songs and learnt our first dance, which was awesome to hear. They got the crowd involved, dancing with them and played longer than they were supposed to. The laptop DJ was great too, which they played in between sets. Their music was amazing and everyone was up dancing…. it was hard not to! We’re soooo happy with them and will definitely be using them again! Can’t wait to see the wedding video! We’ve also recommended them to friends who are planning parties soon and we’ve lost count of the number of guests at our wedding on Saturday in the lakes that thought the band were amazing!"

" Well, where do we start... These guys were amazing from start to finish, communication was quick and they couldn’t be more helpful (even with our many obscure requests for incorporating some songs into their playlists). Gavin and the team were quick to run through the evenings set-list before they started to make sure everything was ok, and when they did start, Wow... they really are the south’s number one party band - They smashed it and really made the evening a night to remember. We’ve had so many great comments from guests about how much they loved the band - some even said the best they’ve ever seen... We danced all night long, and the talent these guys have is incredible - where do I sign up? Book these guys now - you won’t be disappointed!! We cannot thank them enough!! "Sorry for the delay in writing, but i would like to say a massive THANK YOU for recommending 'Party Sounds' and arranging for them to play at our Silver Wedding Celebrations. They were everything I had hoped they would be, and more. I was impressed that Mark took the time and trouble to keep in touch with me by telephone rather than by email (which can get a bit messy) and to discuss our likes and dislikes about the music for the evening. They arrived on time at the golf club and we just left the rest to them. It was lovely to be able to put trust in their professionalism and knowledge of their clients preferences to play all evening. We had kept it a closely guarded secret from our guests that we were having a band, and they were really impressed and pleased with what they saw and heard. My one regret is that I was mixing and talking with our guests so much that I didn't really get to fully appreciate the band as I would if I were a guest at someone else's party! I am trying to talk my friends into doing the same, so that I can listen to them again. However, whenever I did draw breath, the sound was exactly like they were playing a CD version of the song - I had to keep checking that it was actually Mark and his colleagues who were really singing - and, oh boy , it most definitely was!! So thank you once again, and please feel free to use my words as recommendation to others. 'Party Sounds' would definitely be my first choice of music for any events in the future. I don't even think I would consider hiring a DJ ever again :)"

"Each year our section hold a rally. Each year we visit a different location alternating between the UK and Europe. It was my turn to organise a weeks rally in the UK, and I chose the Two Bridges Hotel near Princetown as our base. We needed some form of entertainment for our Gala Night. Our group are in the in main middle fifties and some over eighty so the last thing we need was a rock group. I had some opposition when I suggested a Folk group but I prevailed and have to say that tracking down a band was in the area was extremely difficult. Typing a search in Google for local folk groups resulted in names almost everywhere except in the West Country. Eventually I contacted Blue Jewel and Steve convinced me that they could adapt to our needs. Every single person enjoyed the groups performance, there were 62 people there and almost every single one said how much they enjoyed the group. As the organiser I was greatly impressed by the way they accommodated our requirements and we had a brilliant night. Thank you Blue Jewel Chris.
