Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"It was an absolute prvilege to have Caribbean Regals Steelband playing at my 30th birthday party. The music played gave the exact feel and mood at the correct times; laid back and chilled while the meal took place then upbeat for dancing and games afterwards. I also asked for a mini workshop so my guests and myself could experience the steel drums. They are definitely not as easy as I thought. Sofia and Rujaun were so patient with everyone even when we kept getting all the notes wrong. Sofia and her son Rujaun are extremely talented professionals who are incredibly friendly and easy to get along with and have a laugh. Sofia’s communication was fantastic and the booking process was so swift and easy making for a stress-free time. I would recommend Sofia and Rujaun to anyone looking for a truly enjoyable, unforgettable performance and experience. Any time I need a steel band this is the first place I’d go. Absolutely Amazing worth every penny and more. Thank you for making my 30th birthday one to remember always."

"Just watched Mardy Johnny Depps at the cider festival in Cleethorpes and they was amazing. The voices, sounds and song choices with no backing tapes are a real joy to watch and listen to. The crowd of all ages loved it too. Well done Amy and Stoney xxx "

"We were really pleased to have chosen The Hot Hats as our evening entertainment for our wedding at The Gloucester Old Spot - Bristol. Everyone got on the dance floor straight away and even my Dad, who’s not a dancer, showed quite a few moves :) The song choices were great and pleased everyone’s taste. Arranging everything and communicating with Alfie was very smooth and well organised! Could’t have asked for a better band for our big day! Thank you guys sooo much! "

Everyone commented on how good they were and how much they enjoyed the evening do - there were people up on the dance floor all night! They were very professional and it was noted by everyone. "This isn't even biased because they were our wedding band - House of Chords are THE BEST!! The response to them on the evening from our guests, as well as the feedback we've had, was phenomenal!! We're a month down the line and I still have friends and family reaching out to either comment on how much the band rocked, or to ask for their details! There was a full dance floor all night, literally! Such a great selection of songs, building up the momentum throughout the evening to an amazing final set and send-off! Our first dance wasn't on their repertoire but they still absolutely smashed it which set the night off perfectly! Just amazing, I can't really put it in to words, but thank you Mike, Andy, Ant & Ric for being the most amazing wedding band and making our reception the absolute best it could have been! Better than we could have ever dreamt of! I would not hesitate to recommend them - if you're thinking of booking, do it now!! You will not regret it!"

"Blue Jewel were absolutely excellent at our village hall Ceilidh. Fabulous musicians, great performance and huge enthusiasm. 100 people of all ages were on the dance floor revelling in the wonderful entertainment they provided. They were also highly organised which ensured the event went very smoothly. Highly recommend Kip and Blue Jewel for your social event!"
