"Jan was the consummate professional to work with from start to finish. An incredibly talented saxophonist who really added amazing value to our event. From performing at our welcoming reception as people arrived to really bringing the party alive on the dancefloor later in the evening. I can't recommend Jan highly enough. "I hired Modern Strings as a surprise for our wedding day and they did not disappoint. From initial consultation, through to the song choices, Sophie was hugely helpful and accommodating. We cannot thank them enough for making our day special – we had so many compliments about them from our wedding guests! "If you’re wanting an incredible band for your function definitely book Melody Avenue, they are INCREDIBLE. Our first wedding reception duo let us down and we hired Melody Avenue last minute and I’m so so glad the first duo fell through because Melody Avenue were exactly what we were looking for. They were insane. Micki has a beautiful voice and they also performed our first dance song with only a week and a half’s notice. That’s how good they are! We’ve had nothing but compliments for our wedding reception entertainment and a lots of people asked for details/business cards for them as they were that good. 100% recommend them. Thank you so much guys!! "
