"Liz played with her guitarist for our drinks reception at Northorpe Hall. What a lovely atmosphere it set for everyone there. The songs were perfect and the sound in the barn was great. Liz really did go out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us and we would have happily paid more than we did looking back. We had seen the full band and wanted to book them for the evening reception but they we're not available, gutted! Reviews go a long way these days and Liz deserves nothing but a glowing one as I could not fault anything at all. Such nice people to have as a part of the day. Highly recommended thank you to The Marvellous Motown Souls!"

"Ann-Marie played the saxophone for us at our wedding reception party, she was absolutely amazing! So many guests commented how great she was and she really did make it the best party ever. Such a lovely lady too! Thank you! "

"Absolutely fabulous. The Artist’s performance was exactly what we wanted. Brilliant performance. Made my mums 100th Birthday extra special. She was very pleased. Everyone commented on how fabulous she was. It gave the day a great atmosphere. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a singer to entertain. From old time to new all were performed perfectly. People were asking her to keep singing at the end of the session. She performed 4 or 5 extra song’s for everyone. Even got people dancing. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC"

"We had the best wedding and cannot recommend this band highly enough! The dance floor was busy all night long and any song requested was straight on. My sister had actually requested a song a few days before the wedding for my little nephew and it was on for him and made his night! We had the ceilidh section too which was amazing as well as the sax and everyone is still raving about how good the band were. Thank you so much again for a memorable night. Lots of love"

"Michael performed during our wedding ceremony and drinks reception on 27 May 2018. He did a fantastic job and many of our guests complimented his performance. Michael played all of our song choices and kindly learned a song for us which he played during the signing of the register. We'd highly recommend Michael, professional, friendly and very talented."

"Just to say a huge thank you for Saturday night. James was so helpful in organising the booking, nothing was too much trouble. On the night, everyone was absolutely blown away with the standard of the band, such a great range of repertoire all of which was highly polished and performed to the highest standard with so much energy and enthusiasm. "Well what can we say, booking them was a decision I’ll never regret! We were actually very fussy in picking our wedding band so we looked through the internet and our search was a rather large radius. As soon as we listened to this band we knew they were what we were looking for! Alternative, high energy and brilliant repertoire. The band accommodated some last minute alterations and on the night we couldn’t have asked for any more! They filled the dance floor and I was actually rolling around on the floor by the end of the night. They made a special effort to learn our first dance which was utterly FANTASTIC and they even learnt a Scottish favourite of ours which the crowds absolutely loved. If you are thinking of booking them DO IT. Perfect band to have a brilliant evening of dancing and good tunes!"

"Shakers Gold performed at our wedding in July, they were absolutely amazing and very accommodating... we asked them to perform our first dance - All I want for Christmas! It wasn’t something they usually sang but they rehearsed leading up to the wedding and got into the spirit by dressing in Christmassy outfits which was a surprise, even for us thank you guys for making our first dance so memorable for us and our guests."
