"We're really pleased we chose Shakers Gold to perform at our wedding reception at Kings Weston House. They were full of energy and enthusiasm, and the choice of songs went down well with all our guests! Chris and the band were polite, professional and flexible. It was also convenient that the band were familiar with the venue. We would highly recommend them!"

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"The bride to be and the rest of the hen party had a fabulous time enjoying the wonderful music from the sunny steel band. The band were very punctual and very accommodating. The beautiful sounds made us forget it was raining! The bride to be was very delighted to have a go at the drums. Thank you guys xx"

"What an amazing night at Owen House Wedding Barn for our son's wedding. Gavin and the band were just brilliant and Gavin's dee-jaying skills were pretty good too. Our guests loved them. Highly recommended."

"The perfect choice for our annual summer fete (6th September 2025 Saturday Arlington Square, London, N1}. Mick & Co entered into the spirit of the event and kept everyone happy with a great mix of music. They were so popular that numerous people have already demanded that we book them for next year's fete... Many thanks again for providing the music for our Fete. I've heard nothing but compliments about the band. It's a bit early for that, but the Fete is always the first Saturday in September, so you might want to pencil in 5 Sep 2026 for a possible gig. We haven't done all the sums yet, but it looks like this year's affair broke all records when it came to fund-raising – over £5,000 to be shared between three local good causes! I'm sure the good vibe generated by yesterday's music encouraged the crowd to be generous. Please pass on our warmest thanks to Carlene, Caroline and Mick. I look forward to seeing you all again. "The band were really helpful when we contacted them before the wedding. On the day they set up with no fuss, and let us borrow their mics for our speeches. Their 3 sets were all really good-everyone was dancing from the beginning until the end, and everyone has been commenting on what a great band they are. They were so full of energy, and even ended up wearing props from our photo booth which added to the fun- the drummer looked great in a fez!"

"We hired the 6-piece band for our wedding celebration at Seckford Hall. Even before meeting Tracy (the lead singer) we were impressed with their communication and enthusiasm. On the evening itself the band were organised and professional, and looked smart. Our guests said that they loved the band and by the end of the evening everyone was up and dancing. We would higly recommend the Back2Skool Band!"
