Musically talented, reliable and very pleasant, his skill and warmth shines through when he plays. "We hired 4 members of Vocal Works Gospel Choir for our wedding in April 2022 at Clevedon Hall and it was one of the best wedding decisions we made! The director Tim was very responsive and helpful during the planning process and made everything easy to arrange. He was open to our ideas of where and when we wanted the choir to sing certain songs during the ceremony and they even learned a new song that was special to us. On the wedding day, they were on-time, professional, did exactly as we had planned, and they wowed everyone in attendance with their talent and beautiful voices! Their performance truly made the ceremony magical. We would hire you again in a heartbeat! Thank you VWGC!!!"

"We loved having James play the bagpipes at our wedding - it was the perfect Scottish touch we were looking for. James was great to work with, so professional and flexible when asked to play at different parts of the day- he was more than happy to wait around without any issues at all. He was also great with getting in touch before the wedding and always answered very quickly if I had any questions. So many guests commented on how great he was - if you are looking for bagpipes for a special event from someone who will be more than happy to interact with guests and really add value to the day, then we definitely recommend choosing James."

"Spotlight party were awesome! They made the evening so much fun and brought so much energy. The electric violin and bongos completely elevated the dancefloor. Naomi was so helpful during the planning stages and absolutely nailed the final set list and the vibe we wanted. Our photographer kept saying how it was the best dance set he’d ever heard at a wedding! "

"Harriet was amazing. We were a bit undecided about whether we wanted a harpist or whether we should just find a song on Spotify for our ceremony but I'm so glad we chose Harriet. Watching from the sidelines as my bridesmaids walked down the aisle to Harriet playing was so surreal and something I'll never forget. She played so beautifully and there was no awkward cutoffs or pauses like there would have been if we'd chosen a Spotify song. She knows so many songs that it was such a hard decision to pick which ones we wanted but she made the whole process so smooth. She stayed in touch with us throughout our planning and sent lots of lovely emails and cards in the run up to our big day. I'm so glad we found Harriet, she made our ceremony so special. Highly recommend to anyone!"
